River Legacy Parks can be accessed through two entrances: 701 NW Green Oaks Boulevard or 3020 N. Collins St. River Legacy Living Science Center is located next to the park at 703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard. The Center’s hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays. River Legacy Nature School Enrollment Open Now

River Legacy Nature School provides an environment that encourages a child’s inborn sense of wonder and curiosity to flourish. Indoor and outdoor explorations at River Legacy Nature Center introduce children to the natural world through an inquiry based curriculum.

• Children ages 3 to 5/6 (not yet enrolled in kindergarten) attend class once weekly for 30 weeks, September – May. Twice a week classes available for 4-year-olds.

• Every session includes a trip into the woods, weather permitting, where classroom lessons come to life.

• Balanced curriculum with an experiential learning approach encouraging an exploration of nature.

• Ratio of 2 highly qualified teachers for every 9 to 12 children guarantees personal attention.
