Collins St. River Legacy Living Science Center is located next to the park at 703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard. The Center’s hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays. River Legacy Nature School Enrollment Open Now
River Legacy Nature School provides an environment that encourages a child’s inborn sense of wonder and curiosity to flourish. Indoor and outdoor explorations at River Legacy Nature Center introduce children to the natural world through an inquiry based curriculum.
• Children ages 3 to 5/6 (not yet enrolled in kindergarten) attend class once weekly for 30 weeks, September – May. Twice a week classes available for 4-year-olds.
• Every session includes a trip into the woods, weather permitting, where classroom lessons come to life.
• Balanced curriculum with an experiential learning approach encouraging an exploration of nature.
• Ratio of 2 highly qualified teachers for every 9 to 12 children guarantees personal attention.
