Show dairy
Experience up close a fundamental aspect of our rural culture in the recently opened alpine dairy in the Musteralpe at Lake Plansee. Right on site you get an insight into artisan cheese-making, at any time through a big glass wall. Those who are particularly interested can take part in a guided tour of the production facilities every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and get information from tenant and dairyman Horst Meusburger about the ins and outs of cheese production – free of charge. You can taste the top-quality local product, enjoy it in various dishes or just buy it packed.

Canyoning
Dive into an exciting adventure! Off we go to the Stuibenfälle under expert guidance, which you will then explore in a very different way. Rappelling, climbing, jumping and sliding in proper gear are the order of the day.

Fluvial woodland safari
Come on safari with us in an exceptionally rare natural gem and experience the ‘Auwald Jungle’ in the Tiroler Lech Nature Park! Kitted out with binoculars we head out on a discovery tour together with our Nature Park guide. Time and again this riparian softwood land has been flooded by the Lech, which deposits deadwood and sand, and fills hollows with water. The beaver too has arranged this habitat to suit its own needs, leaving behind fascinating tracks. With a bit of luck and patience you might even see the many other inhabitants of the riparian area, including various amphibians and birds. Tip: the birdwatching tower and the bird experience path tempt you to linger. Watch, learn interesting facts and listen to the birdsong.

A hike around Stuiben Waterfall
Let yourself be whisked off to the dreamily beautiful waterfalls and pools beneath lake Plansee. The idyllically located Stuibenfall waterfall in the Reutte Nature Park region is a popular excursion destination for all ages and has so much to offer.
Hike with a guide from the Frauenbrünnele chapel to the Stuiben Waterfall. From the wonderful ‘pulpit’ viewing point you come to the ‘Ministersteig’ path, which brings you back to the starting point of this circular hike.

Ehrenberg Castle Ensemble
Guided tour of the castle ruins
Ehrenberg offers everything you might expect from a medieval castle: high towers, fortified walls, a secret rock passage and plenty of history. Explore it all during an entertaining guided tour of this castle, which was founded in 1296. Find out about its key strategic role through the centuries and learn about the development of a medieval castle over the course of 500 years, as it became the biggest Baroque fortress complex in Tyrol. As long as the castle has been in existence, it has been being developed. Exciting new finds have emerged during the latest restoration work too.

Children‘s workshop
We – the ‘Werkhaus’ – are an accessible workshop in the centre of Reutte, providing access to the latest technologies including 3D printing and laser-cutting, as well as classic tools for wood, metal, textiles and much more.
In our children’s workshop in particular we promote artisan craft skills and creativity. We work and tinker with different materials, equipment and techniques. In alternating workshops our lasercutter, saws, drills and other tools are used to build exciting items that you get to take home with you. A fantastic memento of your holiday in Tyrol.
