FULL GEAR HELMET Most important piece of protective gear a rider can use. The helmet protects against head injury, windblast, cold and flying objects. Full-faced helmets are recommended.

vs. FOOL`S

GEAR HEAD The head is considered precious by knowledgeable riders and never exposed by the pros. Never expose your head!

EYES, EARS & FACE FACE SHIELD Any rider who`s been hit in the face by stones, insects or debries, can tell you the benefits of wearing a face shield.

GLOVES Keep your hands comfortable, functional and protected. There are a variety of gloves available for all seasons.

JACKET AND PANTS Long sleeves and pants resist abrasion and protect against sunburn, windburn, dehydration or hypothermia. Light colors or reflectives increase a rider`s visibility.

BOOTS

Exposure can lead to irritated eyes, noise-deafening winds and being distracted by the debris or being hit by bugs.

HANDS The hands will not withstand abrasion. Always wear protective gloves!

BARE LIMBS Bare limbs are the subject to ridicule in riding circles. Exposure can lead to injuries, such as road rash, if a crash occurs. Riders and passengers should always wear jackets and pants.

FLIP FLOPS

The boots provide protection against foot and ankle injuries and give you a good grip on footpegs or road surfaces.

Never expose toes and feet to potential contact with road surfaces, shift lever, break pedal or footrests. This can lead to injury.
