AMBEDKAR UNIVERSITY DHEERPUR, NORTH DELHI.
Keeping in mind the importance of access to higher education across all cross-sections of the society, the Ambedkar University Delhi proposed a new campus at Dheerpur to accommodate around 4000 students, 250 faculty and 250 staffs by 2022. A M B E D K A R U N I V E R S I T Y
The proposed campus should reflect a space of transition between past, present and future. The campus should be energy efficient, and fulfill all the parameters with environmental sustainability along with modern construction techniques. This proposal is designed for university complex having all basic facilities for large scale of students. Designing of compl ex is done by focusing more on interactive learning in classroom as well as outside of it. Guide:- Dr. Vibhor Mukul Singh
Zoning and Placement of buildings are done considering the all seasons wind flow, referncing elevation map for water harvesting. Following potentials of site are considered too:1. Surrounding. 2. Noise Pollution 3. Took advantage of neighbour colony to make students and faculties feel like part of daily social life. 4. took viewing advantage of Wetland.
