Protesksan-Turquoise designed the Jazz Jr. to offer a superb blend of comfort and agility. The Jazz Jr. is built to compete in the world’s most strenuous yachting competitions. That means it has the power, agility, and speed that make it thrilling to experience. If guests want to spend time on the deck, then they can watch the water pass by while wind whips through their hair. When standing still, they get a relaxing view of the surrounding ocean, making the Jazz Jr. perfect for sunbathing, enjoying a cool drink, or relaxing with friends. Below the deck’s surface is a cozy interior. The walls have leather and wood molding that adds warmth to every room. Unlike many yachts that are made of aluminum, the Jazz Jr. is made of wood. Every interior beam serves a structural purpose for the boat. While many aluminum yachts add wooden accents to capture the look and feel of traditional boats, the Jazz Jr. offers the real thing.

15

Jazz Jr.’s center cockpit is the yacht’s social hub. A comfortable couch, wooden table, and entertainment center make it delightful for the owner and his guests to escape the warm sun or cool night air. The interior is fully air conditioned, so it is the perfect place to cool off after spending time in the sun. The center cockpit has plenty of room, making it easy for guests to spread out and relax. It even includes a dining table that can sit all of the guests comfortably. It is the perfect spot for taking meals, discussing the day’s plans, or simply telling stories to pass the time.

16

17

18

19

The warm aesthetics of the center cockpit continue into each bedroom. Recessed lighting reveals the natural beauty of the wooden interior. The bed sheets compliment the charm of wood and leather, making guests feel comfortable no matter what the weather is like outside. The large bed is perfect for storing up energy for the next day or taking a quick cat nap to enjoy the evening’s festivities. On the Jazz Jr., guests feel as comfortable as if they were sleeping in their own homes. Jazz Jr. has three suites that can accommodate as many as eight guests. Additional areas provide room for four crewmembers. Protesksan-Turquoise has built a range of yachts over the past 25 years. The Jazz Jr. shows how much the designers have learned in that time. It boasts cold molded construction that is reinforced with inverted U section caps made of galvanized steel. Five layers of mahogany, a layer of E glass, and epoxy resins make the Jazz Jr. aesthetically compelling as well as structurally secure. The yacht has a low center of gravity thanks to its the placement of the keels steel section. This makes the Jazz Jr. exceptionally safe as well as fun and relaxing. Jazz Jr. has the exceptional merits of a tastefully designed boat that equally suits race courses and leisurely cruises. The expertly crafted interior and exterior areas are the epitome of beauty. The rich color of mahogany and leather alone resembles the world’s top country clubs. Jazz Jr. also has attributes that make it an engineering accomplishment. A 450hp Caterpillar engine, 23kW and 13kW Kohler generators, all RHINA classification standards, make it hard for casual passengers and expert yachtsmen not to feel impressed by the power and graceful design of Jazz Jr.

Fidelis combines the fine craftsmanship that every yacht owner craves with modern aesthetics that make it stand out as something truly exceptional. The design from Perini Navi emphasizes large space, making it the perfect yacht for sunny days. Whether enjoying the deck or spending time in the comfortable living areas, the owners and their guests get to experience the ocean in true luxury. The fore cockpit has been designed with two couches and two removable tables. The couches can accommodate as many as 12 people at a time, making it a great place for friends and relatives to gather. With this use in mind, the designers include a waterproof canvas awning that prevents direct sunlight or ocean spray from interrupting activity on the fore cockpit. Instead, the group gets to enjoy the best elements of the ocean without having worry about sunburns or intrusive water. This space forms a 60 square meter area that acts like an open-air terrace. It is the perfect place for the owner and his guests to view the ocean while enjoying each other’s company, playing games, or eating a light meal. The dining room below deck is the perfect setting for larger meals. The dining room table comfortably seats 12. A lounge is attached to the dining room, only separated by glass doors. This creates an open feeling that feels more like standing in the lobby of a grand hotel than being inside a boat. The lounge has three couches and two armchairs, so there is plenty of room for guests to enjoy themselves. One of the most innovative aspects of Fidelis is the central element that divides the lounge and the dining room. This element contains the staircase leading to the lower deck. The wall has space for a recessed television that the owner can hide whenever desired. That way, the TV is only present when it is in use. This adds to the overall design of the space by focusing on a minimalistic use of line, color, and furniture. Every element has been chosen because it matches the overall aesthetics of the yacht. Nothing feels out of place. Even the recessed lighting has been specially chosen for the Fidelis. During the day, large windows let the sun stream into the living areas inside the yacht. At night, the room is illuminated by lights that emphasize the elegance of the Fidelis’s sophisticated interior design.

33

The lower deck of Fidelis contains the living quarters. The fullbeam stateroom has a double bed situated in the center of the room. An office space shares the room with the sleeping area as well as a lounge area with a couch port. A dressing room leads from the bedroom into two separate bathrooms. One has a bathtub made of Brazilian marble and the other has a shower. The lower deck also contains four guest cabins, each with its own queen-sized bed.

34

35

36

Fidelis was obviously designed with comfort and sophistication in mind. That doesn’t mean, however, that it lacks the power of other yachts. Its aluminum hull and superstructure make it lighter than boats that are made entirely of wood. This lightweight approach means that the engine does not have to waste power pushing unnecessary weight through the water. When the engine is not needed, the Fidelis can sail with the power of the wind. It’s 1,500 square meter sail captures the breeze easily to propel the yacht quietly across the ocean.

SAIL YACHT

SUNREEF

114

52

53

The Sunreef 114’s engineering and aesthetic prowess helps it stand out from other superyachts. This vessel can comfortably accommodate eight guests and up to six crewmembers. Sunreef also invested time developing an innovative design that allows it to perform as one of the best sailing yachts in the world. The Sunreef’s large size immediately captures one’s attention. In fact, it is one of the world’s largest mult- hull yachts. Because of carefully crafted engineering, its large size does not prevent the vessel from moving at a rapid clip or turning easily on command.

54

Its streamlined contours, aerodynamic forms, and sleek hulls help it reach a maximum speed of 20 knots. It can also catch wind easily for increased speed and fuel conservation thanks to a sail surface made of D4 material, a deep keel, and a low free board. Sunreef has included the most sophisticated navigation systems and machinery, including bow thrusters that make the superyacht easy to maneuver and a Furuno Navnet 3D system that makes it simple to navigate. All of these details work together to offer the smoothest sailing possible.

55

56

57

58

The 114’s interior has been designed with input from the owner’s wife for maximum comfort and space. It is greatly influenced by the yin and yang philosophy, which has been symbolized throughout the superyacht. A saloon on the wet deck has a large dining room that seats up to eight guests comfortably. A sofa wraps around on side of the table. The other side has individual seats for diners. A 1080 HD LED Samsung TV has been installed in the saloon’s glass wall to offer the most spectacular viewing experiences. The kitchen is one of the Sunreef 114’s most interesting features. The owner loves to cook and watch professional chefs prepare meals. The kitchen, therefore, is viewable from the dining room. A glass wall separates the two areas (wood slats are included for privacy when desired),

creating a harmonious space that flows from one area to the next without disruption. Below deck in the port hull are two guest cabins with twin beds, 32-inch LED televisions, and en suite bathrooms with separate showers. The rooms are illuminated by light hoses discretely installed along the walls. Crew quarters are also located in the port full, as is a crew saloon that offers extra storage, a TV, table, and sofa. The aft section of the starboard hull has another twin guest cabin with a bathroom and separate shower. The owner also has a large refrigerator and wine cellar located nearby. The bow and midship sections of the starboard hull house the owner’s suite, which has private access. The owners suite has a larger 37-inch television with DV player, twin beds with night tables, a full-size wardrobe, bookshelves, and even a large desk facing the window that offers a panoramic view of the ocean. The en suite bathroom has a separate shower, his and her sinks, and storage cabinets for toiletries and other items. No details were overlooked when Sunreef designed the 114. Whether looking at it from an engineering or aesthetic perspective, it easily stands up against the best superyachts in the world.

59

The Sunreef 114’s exterior was as carefully designed to make it accommodating for the owner and his guests. The cockpit has a large dining area with a comfortable sofa and a spacious table. A lounge area on the opposite side of the cockpit offers a more intimate environment for conversation and relaxation. The cockpit offers easy access to the water with a swimming platform that contains a hydraulic step ladder. On the flybridge, one will find another dining area with a sofa and spacious table, sun pads, and a full navcom system.

SOLEMATES

70

71

72

Solemates, a 200-foot yacht by Glade Johnson Design, embodies the very ethos of sophistication. The contemporary designs used in the interior and exterior spaces manage to maintain a modern sense of aesthetics while simultaneously remaining warm and tranquil. Careful attention was paid to the types of woods and fabrics used throughout Solemates. Straight grain Anigre, Wenge, and toned Maple burl run throughout the yacht. Most of the rooms have wood floors that allow spaces to flow from area to the next without interruption. This creates a harmonious feeling in the yacht’s interior. The designers chose to use natural fabrics whenever possible. These low sheen fabrics have pale tones that expresses their softness before they are even touched. The designers also included a large amount of stainless steel and mirrored glass as architectural accents. This makes the large rooms appear even larger and contributes to the beauty of light coming in through the windows. The light is also affected by artistic glass that decorates many of the rooms.

73

Perhaps the most stunning display of aesthetic design aboard Solemates is the foyer stair tower that connects the three interior decks. The wall of this area contains a three-story grid made of inset panes of textured glass and mirrors. This piece of art transforms a common stairway into an extravagant work of beauty. Even the custom doors in this area contain custom bubble glass art that simultaneously looks like a reflective surface and a translucent pane.

74

75

Every detail of Solemates was given serious consideration. The custom furniture aboard the yacht shows how much detail designers paid to every space. Every piece of custom furniture is made from Macassar ebony and woven fabric. This creates a cohesive aesthetic appearance throughout the boat, signifying a unique testament to luxury. Perhaps the bedrooms aboard Solemates are the most luxurious spaces. The owner’s stateroom and the four guest rooms have their own unique designs. Each has it own custom bedding, pale toned plus carpeting, tailored wall panels, and rich wood tones. The Master Bath brings even more luxury to the private area. It has a tub set in a marble tiled platform, two separate sink areas, and wood slats that bring warmth into the room.

76

When the owner and guests plan to spend time socializing, they can retreat to the sundeck, which is perfect for relaxing or getting in shape. The sundeck has a fully equipped gym with cardio

machines and free weights. It also has a bar, lounge, and Jacuzzi that make it easy to relax. This is a great area for gazing out at the surrounding ocean or simply spending quality time with friends. Mealtime is a special occasion aboard Solemates. There are several suitable for taking meals throughout the boat. The dining table seats 12 people in a stately room with recessed and shaded lights. There is also a large round table that will make every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether the owner and guests decide to eat at the bar or enjoy a full meal in the dining room, they get to enjoy gourmet meals prepared by the expert chefs aboard Solemates. Solemates embodies the very essence of luxury. It has wonderful art items throughout the boat, making it seem like a floating museum. At the same time, though, it has been designed for comfort. The warm wood tones, custom made furniture, and innovative glassworks make it the ultimate get away for the owner and his guests.

NISI 2400

89

Photos: Nisi Yachts

90

91

92

NISI 2400 was designed to combine the latest in marine technology with classic aesthetics that emphasize luxury and function. Every aspect of the 2400 has been carefully considered to offer the owner and his guests the absolute best experience. A second helm on the observation deck provides a comfortable area from which the captain or owner can survey the surrounding water and enjoy warm days. To make this possible, the designers included a joystick that makes precise maneuvering while remaining outside. That way, the owner never has to miss any part of the day just because he wants to keep a close eye on his vessel. From the vantage of this perch, he can enjoy conversations and the water without relieving control of his vessel to someone else.

93

The main deck includes interior and exterior areas that can serve a variety of functions. Inside, there is a lounge area complete with custom furniture specifically designed to match NISI 2400’s aesthetics. The interior and exterior parts of the main deck are separated by a glass sliding door that has been designed to continue the look of the windows, creating a seamless area that allows light to enter the interior space without any obstruction. The staterooms are located in NISI 2400’s accommodation deck. The master stateroom has a large bed and plenty of space for the owner to relax. It also has a unique spa tub that converts into a settee when needed. Smaller staterooms in the accommodation deck provide sleeping quarters for guests. The accommodation deck also has rooms for the crew. All rooms contain acoustic insulation that prevents sound from traveling. This gives the owner and guests the privacy that they need during their stay aboard the 2400 and protects them from the engine’s sounds. A swim platform is also accessible from the

94

95

96

accommodation deck, making it easy for guests to easily reach their quarters after enjoying a swim. While NISI 2400 has been designed for comfort and sophistication, it also includes technology that gives it plenty of power and precise handling. NISI 2400 is the only sub-80-foot yacht that meets requirements for both the RINA Charter and MCA Commercial certifications. The 2400’s architecture and marine technology were developed through a partnership between NISI and Setzer Design Group. It’s hull has been designed to make it suitable for competing with America’s Cup Class yachts. The engine has enough power for the 2400 to reach 30 knots. All of that power, however, does not mean that staterooms near the engine will get hot. The engine is encased in a room with aerospace insulation that can contain up to 1,000F of heat. The yacht has a range of 1,500 nautical miles at 9 knots, making it possible for the owner and his guests to travel long distances without stopping to refuel. This efficiency comes from optimized geometrics designed by NISI to reduce drag and cut through the water easily.

97

No expense was spared in making NISI 2400 a top-quality vessel. Every plumbing system in the 2400, including the water, fuel, and emergency bilge systems, are made from metal components that exceed commercial standards. The designers even though to include sound-deadening material in vessel’s body to prevent the noise of water-slap from reaching guests. This makes NISI 2400 a remarkably relaxation yacht that can literally and figuratively transport guests to a state of tranquility.
