TITAN COMPANY LIMITED ABOUT US Titan Company Limited, a joint venture between the TATA Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) commenced operations in 1984 under the name Titan Watches Limited. Titan Company is the fifth largest integrated own brand watch manufacturer in the world.

Over the last three decades, Titan has expanded and explored into under penetrated markets and created leading brands across categories. Titan Company Limited’s people-first approach to everything is driven by its aim to provide elevating experiences to the people they touch.


BRAND GUIDELINES THE DESIGN GUIDELINES These guidelines decribe the visual elements that represent Titan’s retail identity in Large Format Stores. This includes our brand name, logo and other elements such as units, sinages, layouts, colours, materials and finishes. Sending a combined and controlled message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong, unified image of our company.

These guidelines reflect Titan’s commitment to quality, consistency and style. The Titan brand, including the logo, brand name, colours and identifying elements are valuable company assets. Each of us is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unauthorised or incorrect use of the Titan’s name and marks.

INTRODUCTION


BELIEF PURPOSE In today’s consumer landscape, retail plays a deciding role for the fortunes of many brands. How the brand comes alive at the point of sale determines the effectiveness of not just the brand’s imagery but also its business fortunes. It’s also equally important for the brand to remain consistent at all touch points. Given that the future lies with the young and modern consumer group across many geographies Titan has sharpened its endeavours to become increasingly relevant and attractive to these groups. In this context, our Retail design system in the Shop-in-Hop (SIS) context has been re-engineered such that Titan can appear true to its stated objective of becoming a leading, respected brand in many international markets. We have therefore devised this new identity and are happy to present the details of the same in this guideline manual.
