Now, with the effects of the Slimtrain cutbacks coming through and the manning needs set by commitments like the continuing Falklands patrol, many are wondering if any redundancy call will be necessary at all this summer. It is however understood that no final decision has been taken on the matter. Any annoucement will be awaited with much interest in the Service.
