If in your en re family, anyone is tall, then a fixed 38-inchhigh countertops could affect easily working in the kitchen. If you want to raise counters, make sure that it is rela vely easy to modify to a standard of 36-inch-height later on. Try to use standard base cabinets and add piece of wood under countertops, which can be taken out without disturbing any other cabinets.

2. Give floors some bounce In place of terra co a, stone (OR) ceramic les, use bouncy materials like rubber, and especially cork, which are easier on feet and legs in the floors. Alternately, you can place small rugs (OR) mats in strategic areas such as countertops, near gas stove and sink.

Storing heavy items between hip and shoulder height, avoids over-stretching.
