Billy the Glow-worm

Once there was a little glow-worm named Billy. He lived in a cave with his family and lots of other glowworms.
Billy felt lonely because he was the only glow-worm who couldn’t glow. Especially when the other glowworms glowed together in the darkness.
One day he was so sad that he went to his mother and asked her: “Why am I different and can’t glow like the other glow-worms?” and his mother answered: “I like you the way you are.”
He wasn’t satisfied with this answer and wanted to search for the reason why he can’t glow, so he decided to leave his family.
On his way he met a big elephant and asked him: “Why can’t I glow like the others?”
The Elephant answered: “Unfortunately, I can’t help you with this question.”
Then he continued his way and met the frightening crocodile and asked him: “Why can’t I glow like the others?”
The crocodile answered: “Unfortunately, I can’t help you with this question.”
Then he continued his way and met the little mouse and asked her: “Why can’t I glow like the others?”
The mouse answered: “Unfortunately, I can’t help you with this question.”
At the end of the day he decided to go to the glow-worm queen, who is only traceable in the dark. Then he asked her desperately: “Why can’t I glow like the other glow-worms?” She answered: “Be patient little glowworm. You have to wait until you are grown up and then you will shine brightly like all the others.” With a broad smile he went back to his family and if he’s not dead, he lives even today.
