Once upon a time there was a magical bridge that could take you anywhere in the world. Many had tried to cross it, but failed, because of the big, evil, unmerciful troll that lived beneath the bridge. The troll was big as a mountain, with eyes as dark as the darkest night and a nose as long and lumpy as a sack of potatoes.
Three Norwegian goats wanted to cross the bridge from Norway to New Zealand. The smallest goat went first.
The bridge went: “Stimp stamp, stimp stamp.” “Who`s there stimping and stamping on my bridge?” yelled the big troll. “Oh, I`m just the smallest of the Norwegian goats, don’t mind me.” answered the small goat. “I`m coming to get you.” yelled the troll. “Oh no, don`t take me, I`m just a small little goat, wait just a second and the middle goat will come. And he`s much bigger!” said the goat innocently. “Fair enough.” said the troll calmly.
Just a second later, the middle goat started to cross the bridge. The bridge went:
“Stimp stamp, stimp stamp.” “Who`s there stimping and stamping on my bridge?” yelled the big troll.
“Oh, I`m just the middle of the Norwegian goats, don`t mind me.” answered the middle goat. “I`m coming to get you.” yelled the troll.
“Oh no, don`t take me, I`m just the middle of the goats, wait just a second and the big goat will come. And he`s much, much bigger!” said the goat innocently. “Fair enough” said the troll calmly.
Just a second later, the biggest goat started to cross the bridge. The bridge went:
“Stimp stamp, stimp stamp.” The goat was so heavy that the bridge was almost falling apart. “Who`s there stimping and stamping on my bridge?” yelled the big troll.
“I`m the biggest goat.” answered the big goat. “I’m coming to get you.” yelled the troll.
“Yeah, just come! I’ve got two horns, and with them I’m going to stab your eyes out! I have four big and strong hooves, and with them I’m going to beat you blue and yellow” said the goat threateningly.
And then the goat attacked the troll, stabbed his eyes out and beat him blue and yellow, and then tossed him in the Atlantic Ocean. And then the three goats walked happily across the bridge to New Zealand.
Snipp snapp snute, and the fairy tale is over.
