overview Noor Stationery is an online based business established in 2013. At the age of 17 years old, Noor Bahzad, a young Qatari entrepreneur, managed to turn her passion into business. Noor merged the art of pattern making with her design skills and created unique local stationery. Most importantly, Noor ensures on using recycled materials throughout all products, including packaging. From notebooks, to calendars, stickers and even the handmade Mubkhar. Her products carry a very raw and authentic theme. Noor started off by selling her notebooks online and offering home deliveries. Two months into business, the notebooks were available at a local bookstore, in both Qatar Foundation and Qatar University. This helped her notebooks gain incredible popularity amongst the targeted audience. In 2015, the annual calendar was introduced. Her stationery has helped students organize their schedules and stay on track. Noor also offers her handmade “Mubkhar” which was launched in 2017. This summed up to over 1000 “Mubkhar” hand illustrated by Noor herself. Today, Noor Stationery is has its own online store and is available in different outlets like the National Museum of Qatar.

notebooks

Our notebooks are where it all began. This year we have made it easier for our customers to personalize their notebooks. By picking their colours, patterns, and their name, a personalized notebook is made within a few minutes using a hot foil stamp machine. The best part is that all paper used to make our notebooks is recycled.

mubkhar

Our Mubkhar was launched in Ramadan 2017 and the demand has been rapidly rising ever since. Each Mubkhar is handmade by a Qatari Potter, which is then painted and illustrated with different patterns by Noor. We are proud to say that we have sold over 1000 handmade Mubkhars in the past two years. Our Mubkhar has helped increase the appreciation from customers towards handmade artefacts.
