FERRO TITANIUM

Ferro Titanium is an alloy produced using Titanium scrap and low carbon Iron scrap. Different grades of steel require different chemical compositions of Ferro Titanium.

Application/ Usage: Ferro Titanium is used as a cleansing agent in production of Steel as its highly reactive with Sulphur, Carbon, Oxygen & Nitrogen. It is also used for for deoxidising, desulfurisation and denitrification.

Application/ Usage: The largest application area of Ferro Molybdenum is in the manufacture of ferrous alloys.

Due to its hardening properties Ferro Molybdenum makes steel extremely strong and at the same time weldable.

The following are the list of applications of Ferro Molybdenum: • Used in the manufacturing of machine tools and equipment, military hardware, refinery tubing, load-bearing parts and rotary drills.

• Ferro Molybdenum is added to stainless and heat-resisting steels • Tool steels, containing a higher percentage of Ferro Molybdenum are used in high-speed machining parts, drill bits, screwdrivers, dies, cold work tools, chisels, heavy castings, rolls, cylinder blocks, ball and rolling mills, piston rings and large drill bits.
