hat's for Dinner? Cattlemen gathering at the 2018 Cattlemen's College in Phoenix, Ariz., in January will obviously have an answer for that question. But they'll also be finding out who "has the meats" when the president of Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., keynotes their event Wednesday, Jan. 31. Cattlemen's College is sponsored by Zoetis and coordinated by the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, and is presented in conjunction with the 2018 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show in Phoenix.
Arby's President Rob Lynch will speak about "Going BIG with Beef' at the event, which is celebrating 25 years of producer education and inspiration in 2018. Among other things, he will detail his company's "We Have the Meats" marketing platform, which he helped launch last year. In his work with Arby's he also oversaw a product innovation team that tests more than 1,000 potential menu items each year. Arby's is the operator and franchisor of more than 3,300 Arby's restaurants worldwide. Lynch oversees the brand's marketing, operations, development and digital innovations functions, and he also serves as president of the Arby's Franchise Association and chairman of the Arby's Foundation. "This is an exciting opportunity for cattlemen to hear directly from a marketer who very proudly sells their products to
