At the same time, those events will showcase the unique and memorable qualities found in New Orleans and Louisiana. While it’s always challenging to continually top previous convention events, NCBA Executive Director of Meetings and Events Kristin Torres says she is confident the New Orleans convention will live up to its high expectations. “We have worked hard to come up with site-appropriate as well as talent-exceeding entertainment and information,” said Torres. “It will be a week packed with excitement and instruction and we’re certain the 2019 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show will leave attendees energized and thankful they were there.” Those in search of education will be captivated right out of the chute with the 26th Cattlemen’s College, which runs Jan. 29-30. Temple Grandin, Ph.D., will conduct a cattle handling and facility design presentation the first day of the college.
