2019 NCBA TRADE SHOW: SEVEN ACRES OF EXHIBITS AND MUCH MORE T
he NCBA Trade Show in New Orleans Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, 2019, will feature everything TRADE convention attendees SHOW can expect from their convention-going experience. While more than 350 exhibitors showcase their innovative, profit-enhancing products and services, the 2019 NCBA Trade Show also promises to inform and excite with its share of education and entertainment.
Education will be especially prevalent on the Trade Show floor. The 2019 Learning Lounge will feature 30-minute “lightning fast sessions” offering busy attendees valuable education tips. Cattlemen and women can stop by and enjoy informal, face-to-face presentations and hands-on technology in a small, intimate theater-like setting. A Demonstration Arena will feature NCBA’s Stockmanship and Stewardship program, with sessions teaching handling methods that improve gathering, penning, chute work and hauling on horseback and on foot. Offering their expertise will be Curt Pate and Dr. Ron Gill, who have a wealth of knowledge to share with cattlemen and women. The interactive sessions, sponsored by
the beef checkoff-funded Beef Quality Assurance program, emphasize ways to increase cattle performance by reducing handling stress. Ten sessions will be held Thursday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 1.
The Trade Show will combine these intellectual opportunities with fun and entertainment. For instance, the Trade
of exhibits will test the endurance limits of attendees, but there will be several lounges throughout the show floor providing relaxation and rejuvenation. The NCBA Trade Show Bourbon Cowboy Lounge and Gator Lounge, both sponsored by Lallemand Animal Nutrition, will allow show explorers to rest their weary feet. And the Cattlemen’s Connection Lounge,
THE NCBA TRADE SHOW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT NATIONAL SHOW FOR ANYONE IN THE CATTLE BUSINESS. Show will kick off Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. with a Bourbon Street Bash Kick Off Reception, sponsored by Micro Technologies, New Holland Agriculture and John Deere, with beef donated by Certified Angus Beef. It will allow cattlemen and women to mingle and socialize, and provide a fitting start and introduction to Trade Show offerings. A reception Thursday afternoon called Vineaux on da Bayou will feature “beaucoups” vineaux and networking for trade show-goers. Friday’s reception will be Brews and Krewes, with beef donated by American Foods Group, winding down the third day of a busy Trade Show. Covering the more than seven acres
