In Fall of 2020 BGS Chapter earned recognition as a Highest Honors Chapter

Information Technology Degree program introduced 3 new concentrations: Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Information Communications and Technology

In 2020-2021 NCCU introduced two new student organizations, the American Marketing Association and the Women in Cybersecurity organization

Introduced an Online MBA program in 2020 with concentrations in Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Data Analytics

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Student Chapter received Merit Award for the 5th consecutive year.

The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Administration received Recognition for being Online Bachelors in Hospitality Management with the Highest Return on Investment
Innovation and entrepreneurship are at NCCU’s core and are integral to the university’s 2019-2024 Strategic Plan, “Charting a New Landscape for Student-Centered Success.” We nurture a culture of creativity, innovation and collaboration among students and faculty and the broader community to spur economic development. One example of this is the new Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Initiative led by the School of Business.
