STRATEGY 1: AUTHENTIC LEARNING
Provide all NCCVT students with standards-based academics and industry relevant career and technical education that applies learning in real-world settings to real-world problems.

Strong Instruction
Ensure teachers are using the 75% rule that addresses gaps in prior learning within grade-appropriate content, activities, and assignments. Ensure all teachers are using prioritized curriculum and diagnostic data speci cally targeting the 75% rule and prioritized curriculum.
Evaluate administrator observations and evaluation forms. Review other forms of data and feedback (IS walkthroughs) every quarter. Principal conversations, meeti8ngs, and evaluations.

STRATEGY 2: INNOVATIVE SYSTEMS OF LEARNING Provide all NCCVT students with a challenging and innovative education that ensures graduates are ready to pursue their desired post-secondary journey. Activity/Action

Increase the effective use of technology: Instructional and Operational
Establish a district technology committee. Create instructional technology learning labs.
A technology committee will be established and a chairperson determined by October 1, 2021. The committee will have monthly meetings. Identify locations for learning labs. Visit "Best of Class" model instructional technology classrooms.
Utilize MTSS frameworks for tiered instruction
Each school will have an MTSS team that meets monthly and shares best practices within the school
The principal will participate in monthly MTSS meetings and report out as directed/expected by the Superintendent

STRATEGY 3: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Equip NCCVT educators and support staff with tools to provide students with an education that is personalized, innovative, relevant, and stimulating. Activity/Action

Instructional improvement through professional growth
Development of a 2021-2022 school year PD calendar that addresses all NCCVT priorities
PD calendar will be developed and shared with staff and stakeholders by the end of the rst marking period
Increase opportunities for self-re ection and actualization, cultural understanding training, and diversity awareness and appreciation
Training offered on evidence-based SEL practices. Advancement of Equity Initiative through the vision of the District Equity Committee.
At least three SEL trainings offered for staff during the 2021-2022 school year. At least two District Equity meetings held by the end of the rst semester.
Building level administrative teams will support PLCs
All PLCs will be supported by administrators on a bi-weekly basis and report-outs on PLCs will be included in the Superintendent's Principals meeting.

STRATEGY 4: COMMUNICATE THE NCCVT STORY OF SUCCESS
Provide ongoing communication that reveals the incredible work accomplished throughout our District consistently and across multiple platforms. Activity/Action

Communication campaign regarding the District's Strategic Plan for the 2021-2022 school year
Supervisor of Communications & Engagement will develop a communication plan for the updates on the strategic plan
Communication plan to be launched in the fall of 2021 with ongoing highlights shared weekly via social media and newsletters
Communicate the NCCVT story through all available media
The NCCVT plan should include: core beliefs, equity, success of graduates, legacy in the community, the District's contribution to Delaware's economic vitality, the distinction between comprehensive schools and NCCVT, and partnerships and co-op data
Communication plan to be shared with the Superintendent by October 1, 2021 and launched by October 15, 2021

STRATEGY 5: IMPROVE AND ENHANCE SCHOOL FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE Provide a District-wide plan that details building infrastructure updates, school campus enhancements, and facility improvements. Activity/Action

Form a District Facilities Committee
Facilities committee will be comprised of stakeholders who meet monthly at different schools/buildings and conduct walk-throughs, etc. The committee will develop a "facilities strategic plan" that provides reports and recommendations to the Superintendent and Board of Education.
The District Facilities Committee will be established by March 1, 2022
Form an advocacy group and plan for Delcastle's and Hodgson's certi cates of necessity
The committee will develop a strategic plan that will advocate for a new Hodgson school and support for a new HVAC system at Delcastle.

STRATEGY 6: RECRUIT AND RETAIN HIGH QUALITY TEACHERS, STAFF, AND STUDENTS
Enhance District recruitment and retention to support the most effective and qualified staff to meet the learning needs of all students Activity/Action

Develop a "Grow Our Own" or District FEA program
Launch a district-wide program that encourages and supports future educators for NCCVT and the State of Delaware. The program will also support Teacher Academy and Early Childhood Education students.
Program plan to be developed and shared with and approved by the Superintendent by the end of the rst semester. Program to be launched by the start of the fourth marking period.
