All walks depart promptly at the times* shown from the Tourist Information Centre, Market Cross, Lerwick. *(Start & return times may vary for Isles walks, subject to the Summer Timetable). Walks are never cancelled, but adverse weather may necessitate making changes to the planned route. Transport, guides, maps & notes are provided. For your own safety, please heed the grading categories/guide symbols for length & difficulty of the walks. Ensure that you are adequately equipped & fit enough to undertake the walks, often over very rough or steep ground, sometimes in very poor weather & in remote areas. Stout footwear, warm waterproof clothing & a packed lunch+drink are essential. Under 18’s are free but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. SFSG Members have £2 discount. *Walks involving ferry crossings may affect start/finish times. You will be advised. EVERY REASONABLE PRECAUTION IS TAKEN TO PEVENT ACCIDENT & MISADVENTURE.
