The Native Sons of the Golden West recently placed a plaque in Rohner Park, honoring the legacy of the Fortuna Rodeo and re-dedicating the grandstands which were originally dedicated on September 29, 1940. Grand President Ron Brocco presided over the dedication with members of local parlors and Fortuna Rodeo Association Board members in attendance, along with family and community members.
