NATIONAL CHENG KUNG UNIVERSITY MUSEUMS GUIDE BOOK
國立成功大學校園博物館群 1999 年春天，國立成功大學以許伯夷先生之捐贈文物為基礎， 開始籌設博物館，並於 2007 年 11 月 11 日正式成立。成大博物 館不是國內第一座大學博物館，卻是第一座納入學校組織章程且為 學校一級單位的公立大學博物館。另一方面，成大博物館也並非本 校第一座校園博物館；本校尚有文學院的歷史文物館及一些系史室 或專業博物館，更早之前就非正式地成立、開放參觀了。 目前成大的博物館由博物館總館、校園環境博物館、及院所 系專業博物館群構成。博物館總館負責校級文化資產（包括環境博 物館）的典藏、研究、展示（校史常設展、伯夷山莊文物展、臨特 展）、及推廣教育活動。校園環境博物館則針對學校古蹟遺址、歷 史建築、生態環境以及紀念性地標進行研究與導覽。 近年來，成大博物館致力於協助全校院所建置及宣傳系史館 室與專業博物館，主動協助整合為清晰的大學博物館群。至今學校 各單位陸續成立的專業博物館群至少包括文學院歷史文物館、地科 系博物館、機械系史室、電機系史館、化工系史館、臺灣化工史料 館、工科系史室、土木系史室、材料系史室及冶金材料廳、系統系 史室、綠色魔法學校亞熱帶綠建築博物館、醫學院史室等展示空間。 希冀在不久的未來，樂見成大各院系所建置院系所史館，並在展現 各系所特色精神下，成立主題博物館，最後結合分散各校區之各類 校園文化資產，構成校園內豐富的文化資源網絡。

國立成功大學博物館源起於 1999 年高雄旗山許伯夷先 生允諾捐贈成大大批歷史文物開始，由當時前副校長翁鴻山 召集籌組博物館籌設小組。千禧年初秋，許伯夷先生慷慨致 贈本校珍貴文物兩千多件。2003 年底，以成功校區舊行政 中心為博物館籌備處暨展場空間，2005 年春天，正式成立 成大博物館籌備處。2007 年 7 月 5 日校務會議通過「國立 成功大學博物館設置辦法」後正式成立成大博物館，這也是 國內公立大學第一所正式納入學校組織規程的博物館，由本 校機械工程系顏鴻森教授擔任第一任館長。

成大博物館目前由博物館總館、校園環境博物館、及院 所系專業博物館群構成。博物館總館負責校級文化資產（包 括環境博物館）的典藏、研究、展示、及教育推廣，並協助 院所系史館室或博物館的建置，以及有關教學和研究物件的 蒐研、保存、陳列，以構成專業博物館群。展示部分分為校 史常設展、伯夷山莊文物常設展、臨特展等，其中臨特展， 包括校園地景系列展、校史主題特展、教職員教學研究蒐藏 系列展、學生社團回顧系列展、臺灣工程教育史系列展、及 國外交流展。 除了以綜合型博物館之面向服務成大教職員生，提供文 化資源之外，成大博物館並擴及一般大眾，積極推展社會教 育、加強國際交流，並以邁向無圍牆大學城之文化園區及國 際認同的大學博物館為目標。
The National Cheng Kung University Museum was originated in 1999, when the Professor Hong-Shan Weng (Vice President of NCKU at the time) assembled a designated team to push for the eventual establishment of the museum. In Fall 2000, Po-Yih Hsu generously donated more than 2,000 pieces of precious cultural relics. The old administration building in Cheng Kung campus became the temporary office and exhibition venue of the commitee at the end of year 2003. The Pre-Establishment Committee of the NCKU Museum was formally assembled in Spring 2005. 2 years later, on July 5, 2007, the museum was officially established through the university executive meeting. The NCKU Museum thus became the first museum established under a national university structure. Professor Hong-Sen Yen was appointed as the first Director of the NCKU Museum. The NCKU Museum was currently comprised of the main museum, the campus eco-musuem, and the historical galleries and museums under each department of the university. The main museum is in charge with the collec-

tion, research, exhibition, and educational promotion of the cultural assets and the eco-museum within the entire university. It also supports the establishment of college or department-level museums or historical galleries, especially in the disciplines of collection, curating, preservation, and exhibition. The exhibition within the museum is divided into the Permanent Exhibition, Special/Temporary Exhibition, and Serial Exhibition. The Permanent Exhibition is comprised of the university's history, also the collection of Mr. Po-Yih Hsu. The Special Exhibition includes the international exhibition cooperated with aďŹƒliated foreign universities, the ecosystem of the university, and university history on selected themes. The Serial Exhibition are consist of the collections of teaching stas and student clubs.

成功大學歷史文物館位於舊文學院圖書館原址；原成立於 1976 年 11 月 11 日，為本校第一座博物館。最初將「小型 文物研究室」的文物移藏於此，於校慶當日正式對外開放。 歷史文物館現隸屬成功大學文學院，並於 2016 年 8 月開始 改造，以利內部空間作為展演、教育、論壇、工作坊等多功 能用途。2017 年 1 月 4 日後重新啟用。 館內收藏有二類，一為歷史系師生從事地方文史調查所得 地方文物，一為各界捐贈之文物含木器、石器、陶瓷、拓本 等五百多件。其中有珍貴文物如水仙宮木雕一百餘件及洪華 剪黏十八件。並曾先後舉辦「大員紀事」、 「歲月雕琢五條港 —府城碑碣暨水仙宮木雕展」、 「史蹟勘考：碑與拓的故事」 及「西方宗教在臺灣」等府城歷史文化相關特展，以激發師 生及民眾對地方文史之興趣及關注。

The History Museum of the College of Liberal Arts is located at the old college library building of the College of Libral Arts. It was originally established in November 11, 1976 as a venue to display the artifacts curated by the Research Laboritory of Small Relics and was oďŹƒcially opened on the day of the University's Anniversary. The History Museum has undergone renovation between August 2016 and January 2017 to transform its interior into a multi-purpose space for events such as exhibitions, seminars, forums, and workshops. The History Museum curates two types of collections. One is from the artifacts accumulated by the faculties of the Department of History during their researches on local cultures and history, the other is the 500 pieces of cultural relics donated by various sources, including wood, stone, ceramics, and rubbings. The most precious artifact were the 100 pieces of wooden sculptures collected from the Temple of the Water Gods and the 18 pieces of ceramics cutting and pasting sculptures by Hua Hong.

成功大學地科系博物館目前位於成功大學博物館西側二 樓。成立於 1968 年，最初僅是藏身於系館中的標本陳列室， 提供系上教學研究使用，如今已蒐藏 3000 多件國內外標本。 常設展著重岩礦與古生物基本地史知識傳達，強調在地性研 究價值，以臺灣造岩型態與左鎮、四溝層、澎湖水道地區出 土化石以及臺灣海洋生物化石作為館藏特色。 地科系博物館不僅是收藏地球的故事，也保存地科系教學 傳承的痕跡，是國內目前收藏最多臺灣地質標本的地球科學 博物館。

The Earth Sciences Museum is located on the 2nd oor of the NCKU Museum building's west wing. It was established in 1968 as a specimen gallery within the Earth Science Department building for educational and research purposes. Now the museum is home to more than 3,000 pieces of domestic and foreign rock and fossil specimens with a focus on the local geological history and fossils unearthed from rock formations of Taiwan, especially the rock formations of Taiwan, the fossils execavated from sites such as Zuozhen, Pingdung, and Penghu, also various marine creature fossils from Taiwan. The museum preserves not only the story of planet Earth, but also the teaching heritage of the Department of Geography. It also holds currently the largest collection on geological specimens on Taiwan among all the Taiwanese earth science museums.

成功大學電機系史館為全臺灣第一個電機系博物館，由台 達電子暨財團法人成電文教基金會理事長鄭崇華慷慨捐助 200 萬及其他系友捐助所成立，於 2007 年 12 月 21 日正式 啟用。 館藏展示分為靜態文物及儀器兩區。靜態文物展示區主要 展示電機系之歷史年鑑及傑出系友事蹟。儀器展示區主要陳 列電機系過去教學研究之相關設備，並介紹成大各時期儀器 設備之使用歷程，不僅紀錄成大電機系的發展，同時也是臺 灣電機發展史的縮影。

The Historical Gallery of the Department of Electrical Engineering is the ďŹ rst museum in Taiwan that has been established by a college of electrical engineering. The Historical Gallery was established in December 2007 under the auspice of Mr. Chong-Hua Zheng (Chairman of the Delta Electronics Foundation) and other alumni of the department. The gallery is divided into two areas to display the chronology and instruments respectively. The ďŹ rst area features a timeline mural that covers the history the department and biographies of outstanding alumni. The instrument gallery houses many equipment and machines used by the department for teaching and research. Not only has the gallery preserved the development of the Electrical Engineering Department, but has also served as an epitome of the history regarding to the electrical engineering development in Taiwan.

成功大學機械系史室在 63 級校友解德泉的慨然捐獻下成 立於 2007 年 11 月 10 日，並以已故之謝爾昌教授（39 級） 於 2003 年完成之《成大機械系七十年史 1931-2001》一書 為基礎，規劃系史室。 機械系自 1931 年開始至今，已歷七十五載。藉由系史室 的建立，得以紀錄過往留存的珍貴教學用具、文獻資料與實 驗器材。為了讓學生了解實習工廠的過去歷史，並保留珍貴 文化資產，繼系史室之後，機械系在 2009 年 11 月於系館地 下一樓建置完成「二十世紀初皮帶傳動機械展示室」。

The Historical Gallery of the Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in November 2007 under the auspice of alumni De-Quan Xie (class if 1974) and his generous donation. The planning of the gallery is based on the book "The 70-Year of NCKU Mechanical Engineering Department: 1931- 2001" written by late Professor Er-Chang Xie (class of 1950). The Mechanical Engineering department has gone through 75 years since it’s establishment in 1931. Through the gallery’s opening, the department was able to preserve precious teaching equipment, literature, and experimental equipment. The department has also opened "The Gallery of the Early 20th Century Belt Driven Machinery" in November 2009 at the B1 floor of the department building for students who wish to explore the history of the department’s Internship Factory.

成功大學化工系自 1931 年創立以來已歷 86 載，為了展示發 展及教育成果，自 2007 年起開始整理包括儀器設備具有歷史價 值的文物，並幸得 47 級系友贊助，於同年 12 月設置系史館。 館內以看板及螢幕說明本系沿革、教學研究和系館之變遷， 同時介紹獲頒傑出校友及傑出系友成就獎之系友。展示之文物 方面有日治時期與製糖、油脂、纖維、電氣化學相關的珍貴儀器、 及美援時期與普渡大學合作時所增設之設備等重要歷史文物， 見證臺灣化工教育史之演進。

The Historical Gallery of the Department of Chemical Engineering has been oppened under the auspice of alumni of the Class of 1958. Being established in 1931, the Department of Chemical Engineering was one of the ďŹ rst four departments to be established by the school. The Historical Gallery was opened to celebrate its history, development, and educational achievements accumulated from more than 80 years. The Historical Gallery is comprised of a display board and digital screen to show its visitors the history of the department as well as many notable alumni who have recieved honorary awards from the department. The exhibition section features plenty of precious artifacts such as the instruments related to sugar, oil, ďŹ ber, and electrical chemistry, which all have been used during the department's earliest days during Japanese Colonel Period. Aside from Japanese legacies, the gallery also displays larger equipments acquired during the US Aid period which the Purdue University has cooperated with the NCKU.

臺灣化工史料館之建置為化工系 47 級孫春山系友（毅豐 橡膠工業公司董事長 ) 所贊助，於 2016 年 11 月 11 日正式 開幕。其設立目的即在收集，整理、研究及典藏化學工業與 化工教育相關資料，以利建構臺灣化工發展及教育史相關之 完整歷史記錄。本館主要針對臺灣重要化工產業史料、化工 公司及其創辦人以及化工教育史料收集整理，除典藏於館內， 亦編成書目上網供查詢。部分重要史料將予以數位化，提供 線上閱覽。另外也委請專家學者，就特定專題進行研究後， 彙集成史料集或撰寫成書出版，以提供從事化工教育與研發 工作者以及鑽研台灣歷史變遷的學者查閱參考。

The Historical Archive of Taiwanese Chemical Engineering was established in November 2016 under the auspice of Mr. Chun-Shan Sun (class of 1958). The mission of the Archive is to collect, collate, study, and collect published material from the chemical engineering industry and the education facilities, so that a comprehensive historical record can be built to illustrate the development of the chemical engineering industry and education. The archive collects historical data on chemical engineering companies and education materials on chemical engineering within Taiwan. All the archived materials are composited into a digital index to optimize accessibility for users. Scholars were also invited to perform research on speciďŹ c topics in relate to the discipline to be edited into books for those who wish to explore the history of chemical engineering.

成功大學土木系透過工學院「亮點實驗室」經費補助，於 2014 年 11 月 11 日將該系之舊水工實驗室建築（目前列管 具文化資產價值之獨棟歷史建物）正式改制為系史室。揭牌 儀式由土木系 60 級之毛治國系友（時任行政院副院長）主持。 土木系成立至今已歷 75 載，為響應本校推動博物館群之 趨勢，藉由系史室的建置，介紹歷年土木系重大紀事，以讓 系所師生瞭解土木系的過往歷史。目前系史室著重整理、保 存、展示、與傳承本系各發展階段的珍貴照片與文獻書籍。

The Historical Gallery of the Department of Civil Engineering is located in the department's old hydraulic laboratory building (currently listed as a potential historical asset). It was opened in November 2014 after rennovation. The Opening Ceremony was held Alumni Chi-Kuo Mao (class of 1971) who served as the Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan at the time. With the establishment of the Historical Gallery, the Civil Engineering Department is able to introduce its 75-year history to students and faculties. The Historical Gallery is currently focused on the collecting and preserving of historical photographs and books and prepare the artifacts to be exhibited in gallery.

成功大學材料科學及工程學系源自 1940 年成大前身之日 治 時 期 臺 灣 總 督 府 臺 南 高 等 工 業 學 校 所 設 立 之「電 氣 化 學 科」，係我國最早培育材料科技人才之學術單位。幾經沿革， 走 過 一 甲 子 後，允 宜 徵 集 相 關 系 史 文 物，整 理 珍 藏。2014 年在近卅位系友熱情捐款支持下，完成新系館二樓與三樓約 22.4 坪的系友系史相關空間規劃與裝修。並於 2015 年設置 位於二樓之「系友與系史室」及三樓之「冶金材料廳」。 前者提供系友返校、外賓與教職員工的交誼使用，後者為 展示系史關文物，包括系史文獻、稀有絕版書籍、教學研究 設備與系務發展文物等，陳列材料系保留至今的教學儀器與 系所相關文物。二、三樓之間則以獨具特色的旋轉樓梯連結， 二樓旋轉樓梯的入口處飾以由退休教授張炎輝老師所贈之墨 寶『談笑鴻儒』，完美詮釋此特有空間涵蓋迎賓與學術殿堂之 雙面意義。

The Historical Gallery and Alumni Lounge of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and the Metallurgical Material Gallery are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the new department building. Opened in 2014, the Lounge and Gallery were established through the donation from nearly 30 alumni. The Department of Materials Science and Engineering of NCKU holds its lineage since 1940 with its predecessor, the Electrochemistry Deparment established by the Tainan Technical College of the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office. The department was the first in Taiwan to train professionals in materials science and technology and has been accumulating legacies and artifacts from alumni and staffs since Year 2000. The Historical Gallery and Lounge provides a socializing venue for alumni, guests, and faculties; the Metallurgical Material Gallery serves as an archive and exhibition venue for many collected artifacts, such as literatures in relation to the department's history, out-of-print books, and teaching and research equipments. The two spaces are connected by a uniquely designed spiral staircase, which is decorated with a Chinese calligraphy plaque written by the retired professor Yah-Hui Zhang.

成功大學配合國家建設發展之規畫於 1970 設立造船工程 學系（造船系），2003 年更名為系統及船舶機電工程學系（系 統系），於 1994 年搬遷至自強校區，並設立全臺最大第二代 拖航水槽於地下室，並同時設立系史室。 系統系系史室蒐藏陳列歷年校友資料、照片、系館與實驗 室模型、各種船隻模型、學生活動文物等。由於各項實物比 例模型體積碩大，系史室近年起以「系館即博物館」之精神 將系史相關文物含各種實驗模型、教學模型、研究成果分別 展示於系館各樓層之適當位置，擴大陳列規模。

The Historical Gallery of the Department of Systems and Naval Mechatronic Engineering was established in 1994, when the department has been relocated to its new building. Originally named the Department of Naval Architecture and Engineering, the the Department of Systems and Naval Mechatronic Engineering was established by the NCKU in 1970 then later changed to its current name in 2003. The new building also houses the Department’s 2nd generation towing tank in its basement, and is the largest towing tank within Taiwan. The Historical Gallery collects records of alumni, photographs, mementos from student activities, and various models including the department building, laboratories, and ships. Due to the massive size of life-size models of ships used for teaching and demonstration, the department has innovated its curating policy in to a so-called "department building as a museum" by placing these models on various levels within the building for public display and optimizing the public exposure of these artifacts.

綠色魔法學校成立於 2011 年 1 月 12 日，由台達電子文教 基金會董事長鄭崇華捐贈新臺幣一億元，成大研究基金會出 資六千萬元，同時募集臺灣二十多所企業捐贈最尖端綠色科 技所共同打造。 「亞熱帶綠建築博物館」位於綠色魔法學校一樓大廳後方， 是一個充滿趣味的建築教育基地，展示了綠建築的建造手法 與節能的重要性，入口處展示有蘭嶼達悟族拼板舟，兩側壁 面文字介紹世界與臺灣綠建築發展及實例、建築生命週期、 熱島效應、世界能源的匱乏、建築環境的破壞及基地保水等 議題，並以綠色魔法學校、綠色魔法學校水循環、埃及民居 之捕風塔設計、英國國會議事會之通風塔設計以及蘭嶼民居 之防風型設計等實例說明綠建築之運用。

The Magic School of Green Technologies was established in January 2011 through the generous donation of Mr. Chong-Hua Zheng (Chairman of the Delta Electronics Foundation) and the NCKU Research and Development Foundation. More than 20 Taiwanese enterprises who have contributed the most cutting-edge green technology for the building to be built. The Museum of Subtropical Green Buildings is located at the rear end of the ďŹ rst oor of the Magic School and showcases the techniques used in green building construction and the importance of energy saving. A talala wooden boat of the Tau tribe in Orchid Island is placed at the entrance of the museum, with texual information displayed on the interior walls of the either side of the museum to introduce topics related to green building, such as the development of Taiwanese green building, the life cycle of green buildings, the urban heat island, global energy shortage, the environmental destruction brought by construction, and conservation of natural water systems and reservoirs during construction.

為了展示、紀錄與典藏醫學院發展歷史，醫學院成立院史 委員會，重整院史室。2009 年 2 月 22 日，院史委員會舉辦 成杏書展，醫學院創院院長黃崑巖教授揭牌，開啟典藏豐富 的院史室。醫學院院史室收藏本院自 1984 年創院至今以來 具紀念性文物，以及歷年舉辦展覽代表性展示品，呈現醫學 院整體發展縮影。

The Historical Gallery of the Medical College was established in February 2009 through the Committee of Medical College History assembled and designated to collect and curate the college's history. The opening ceremony was held along with the NCKU Medical College Book Fair, and was held by Professor Kun-Yan Huang, founder of the Medical College. As a venue to present the development and history of the medical college, the Historical Gallery is home to coommemorative objects such as mementos as well as notable artifacts showcased during exhibitions held in the past.

醫學院創院院長黃崑巖教授，於 1982 年自美返臺籌建成 功大學醫學中心，篳路藍縷，成就今日巍峨矗立的醫學中心， 更培育無數優秀學生貢獻社會。全院師生感念黃崑巖教授的 貢獻，設立「崑巖書房」以茲紀念。於 2015 年 3 月 2 日由 蘇慧貞校長主持揭幕典禮。 「崑巖書房」文物紀念展覽室，典藏黃崑巖教授著作、手稿、 藏書、文房四寶等，藉以讓後人略窺黃崑巖教授的學術成就、 文人修養及治學態度。

The Kun-Yan Study is a specialized museum that exhibits Professor Kun-yan Huang's works, manuscripts, books, and stationaries. It has been established to commemorate the founder and the ďŹ rst dean of the medical college, Professor Kun-yan Huang, returned to Taiwan in 1982 from the United States to establish the medical center of NCKU. Through many hardships and challenges, the medical center has not only become the epitome of medical and clinical success in southern Taiwan, but also an institute which has educated countless outstanding young medical professionals who have contributed their knowledge and practices to the society. President Huey-Jen Su of NCKU has presided over the opening ceremony of e Study on March 2, 2015.
