’ S T N E R PA AGE P We are thrilled that you are considering sending your teen(s) on one of our NCSY Summer Programs. We understand that making this decision can be difficult so we have provided you with some helpful information, to aid you and your family in this decision.
SECURITY The security and safety of your child is our number one concern. All of our international touring programs have an armed security guard with them at all times. In addition, when in Israel, our tour providers are in constant communication with the Ministry of Education in regards to decisions concerning trip route, itinerary and lodging locations. While in Europe, we consult with local security agencies and US consulates and embassies on a regular basis. For all of our programs, we provide an updated phone message from the program director available to you from our New York office. Each program is assigned a specific phone number that you can call. In addition, in the event of any sudden changes, our program directors will immediately update the hotline with their location and the progress of the program.
SCHOLARSHIPS Financial aid is available based on need and is given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The application for financial aid is part of the online registration process. In order to be considered for financial assistance, you must fill out the online application and submit your most recent tax return. TJJ and TJJ Ambassadors are not eligible for National NCSY scholarships through the NCSY Summer Programs office. Contact your local NCSY Regional office for additional information about scholarship resources. You may also contact your local Jewish Federation, synagogue or other Jewish institutions to inquire about scholarship opportunities in your area.
PRICING All prices can be found on the NCSY Summer Program website, www.ncsysummer.com. The prices for international programs include round-trip airfare between JFK International Airport in New York and the destination of the program. Pricing for all programs includes all lodging, meals and touring expenses. We do recommend providing some spending money for souvenirs and water.
CONTACT INFORMATION For specific program-related questions, please feel free to call or e-mail the NCSY Summer Program staff: TJJ and TJJ Ambassadors Devorah Becker 212-613-8145 BeckerD@ou.org GIVE, Kollel and Michlelet Jen Goldman 212-613-8167 GoldmanJ@ou.org Camp Sports, ICE, JOLT and BILT Elana Schwarzberg 212-613-8193 SchwarzbergE@ou.org

T U ABO Y NCS Since it was founded in 1954, NCSY has been engaging Jewish teens and reconnecting them with their heritage. Through the decades, NCSY has evolved and found new ways to make Judaism relevant to teens. Today, under the leadership of International Director Rabbi Steven Burg, NCSY connects with 35,000 teens in 219 cities across North America and in six countries across the globe.
POPULAR PROGRAMS JEWISH CULTURE CLUBS Jewish Culture clubs on public high school campuses provide Jewish teens with programs that strengthen their Jewish identity and connection to Israel. SHABBATON WEEKENDS Shabbaton weekends inspire and educate Jewish teens in an atmosphere conducive to religious pride and growth. For many of these teens, this is their first Shabbat experience. LATTE & LEARNING Latte & Learning brings Judaism to local coffee shops and serves up Torah in a relaxed and fun setting. Latte & Learning is the place for teens to ask questions, voice their feelings, and connect with each other. SUMMER PROGRAMS NCSY runs nine unique summer programs in the US, Israel and Europe that cater to teens with different interests and backgrounds. The programs have proven to be life-altering trips, connecting teens to their heritage while having a fun time.
