AJ MEADOWS
NDA: Please give us a little background on yourself.
M y name is AJ Meadows and Im from Tampa FL.
It all started on a mini quad when I was three years old and once I drove that into the river behind my house, my dad got me a pee dub for Christmas that same year. From there I rode in the neighborhood and at Croom till 8 not really serious at all. Then at 8 years old I started racing and always has been a dream of mine to go pro and still perusing that.
NDA: Who would you say has had the most influence over you riding? My dad for sure! He rode when he was younger and always rode with me as I was growing up. But rider wise i always looked up too Ricky Carmichael because he was small like me and I really loved his style.
NDA: Hows Laser Works been going for you? Laser works has been good for sure. Its slowly getting bigger in the Moto industry as we just did all the mini o’s trophy’s. Its been a lot of fun to be apart of designing there stuff and coming up with some ideas. Everyone should check them out for sure
NDA: What is motocross to you? Motocross is basically my life... I know everyone says that but its what I’ve done since I was little and not going to high school, it pretty much means everything to me.
NDA: Whats the meaning behind the number 841? 841 I started as 8 because I was 8 years old in my first race. I was number 8 until Loretta’s and my Loretta’s number that I got assigned to was 84. After Loretta’s I didn’t want to keep that number but I didn’t want to go back to 8 because I wanted to start fresh. So I added a 1 and just ran it.
NDA: In the end, sponsors are what keep things going, who would you like to recognize? Oh for sure what to say thank you to my mom and dad for sticking behind and me and still letting me ride after seeing all the injuries I’ve had and countless hospital bills. Its been a tough road. Hollywood racing for helping me the past two years and never letting me down st any point. Scott Salkill and Debbie Salkill for giving me a chance to show what I’ve got and just a lot of support. Laser works of Tampa for buying me bikes and parts and anything I ask for. HDG (Hollywood digital graphics) six12 for helping me through out the year. Williams performance for getting me all those holeshots with great motors. Kenny Yoho, Tim ferry, for training. My girlfriend Brandi for the goggle cleans and support. And NDA action sports for being a badass

Joe Diaz has custom works that date back to the
1970’s. It all started with his brothers helmet, and soon it had caught on. His work would lead him to the pro’s such as Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Red Bull’s Ronnie Renner and Timmy Ferry, and the list goes on. With many different looks and styles, he has put his artistic talents on cars, bikes, helmets, just about anything the client wanted. Spanning beyond the United States his work is sought after by every rider that wants to show their personal identity on the track.

austin ober
Got to spend time with 6 year old Austin Ober from NH. Down here in Florida with his mother Jennifer Ober, visiting family, and getting some practice time at Tampa MX. His goal in Florida was to race at Gatorback for the 2015 Florida Winter Am Series! Austin took the overall in the 4-6 51cc class. Great job and good luck to the Ober Family in chasing the ultimate dream! (above photo courtesy of Jennifer Ober)
