Be an artist, musician, mathematician, scientist, historian, work on that second language and watch your love of learning grow. With all Notre Dame has to offer, you won’t want to go home at the end of the day. Notre Dame offers a wide variety of courses to explore. We want you to get a chance to delve into new subjects and dig deep into your favorites. Notre Dame will give you a chance to do more labs, more projects and more investigations. We want you to know how to work with your new knowledge, not just repeat it back to us. Hopefully, the courses listed here will give you an idea of the fun you can have while you learn. Notre Dame gives you access to the two premier programs available to college-bound students: AP and IB. As you move through school, you want to get a head start on college. Whether you decide to take Advanced Placement courses in your favorite subjects or decide to pursue the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, we know you will be in position to earn valuable college credit and stand out when you arrive on a college campus. Notre Dame has great teachers who are committed to your success. While you are at Notre Dame, you will be provided a healthy challenge, but your teachers will be there to keep you motivated, provide extra support, and help you reach your goals. NDP students are sought after by top colleges and universities. Here are 10 facts to prove it: 1. Notre Dame students were accepted to 150 colleges and universities in 2014. 2. Notre Dame routinely sees 100% of its graduating seniors accepted to a four- year college and university. 3. Each member of the Class of 2014 on average earned acceptance to four four-year colleges and/or universities. 4. Seventy-two percent of the Class of 2014 earned an academic scholarship to college. 5. The 166 students in the Class of 2014 earned more than 400 scholarships. 6. The Class of 2014 earned scholarships to 22 Catholic colleges and universities. 7. The Class of 2014 earned more than $14.7 million in merit-based scholarships. 8. Fifty students in the Class of 2014 gained acceptance to the University of Michigan. 9. Nine students in the Class of 2014 gained acceptance to the University of Notre Dame. 10. Thirteen students from the Class of 2014 signed to play college athletics.
