LIVERPOOL WATERS INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP | LIVERPOOL, UK
The Aquarium is one of the new buildings foreseen to be constructed in SECTION A
the Liverport area. It will serve as an exhibition space, and will provide educational activities regarding the underwater world. It includes attraction points as the Tube-like Aquariums, the Amphitheater, and Fish Eye & exhibition Halls. The space is organized in 5 different levels which are connected by a ramp along the big water tube in the center of the building. The program is suitable for all age groups. Inspired by its

particular function, a unique sponge-like organic form was designed. This shape displays the complexity of buildings interior and generates an elegant structure whose shadow stands in the water surface similar to the shadow of water creatures. The 3 openings in the covering surface allow natural light to penetrate through the vertical water tubes (aquariums) into the building. This reflection of light creates a unique atmosphere in the inner spaces, and produces a more natural setting of the underwater world exhibited.

WHOAMI DESIGN WEEK | TRIENNALE DI MILANO, ITA
The task of each participant was to collect different samples from the Milan Design week. Samples would be small elements found in different showrooms and would represent the profile of the product being exhibited. This project is related to an exhibition at the Milan Triennale that will have 4 “rooms. The room I participated in is room 4. This Bike sharing room is a WHOAMI experiment that focuses on a concrete problem set by a design studio. We worked with the guys from Snark space making to solve some design issues for the development of a bike sharing service. The workshop was helpful when it came to learn about the design world of products and services. The exhibition is meant to document how people improve and increase their skills. Things where exhibited in two places: the Triennale exhibition (temporary) and the physical and digital WHOAMI Wunderkammer at Abadir (permanent).

THESIS PROJECT THE BRIDGE OF CULTURES AN INNOVATIVE RISING DESITY SOLUTION | VIENNA, AUT
The bridge of culture is an approach to deliver answers to the raising questions caused by urbanist and social developing of Vienna in the upcoming decades. The concept of densification appears to be a more appropriate solution than the conventional urban expansion in remote areas, especially since this city provides a strikingly high but currently unused potential of high-quality habitat near the shore. In order to meet on the one hand, the increasing demand for housing, living and working space and on the other hand push forward the inner city as well as intra-European exchange, under consideration for flood protection the typology of living bridge was recourse as the most suitable opportunity for the Danube city.

INFOBOX JOANNEUM 200 JEARS ANNIVERSARY PROJECT | GRAZ, AUT
The Project was designed to represent and to publish the cultural events of Joanneum Association in year 2010 when the organization celebrated 200 years. The choice was to design an Info pavilion, which reflects the visual identity of the organization, and provides the public all necessary information about events and exhibitions. The basic cubic shape alternates from the logo of Joanneum Museums and the concept standing behind it. Regarding the colors and observations upon the > 90.0000 LOGO COMBINATION POSSIBLE
logo, the form and the facade of the Info box were designed. Additionally, a path passing through the box is designed. This allows the visitors to walk through and explore the inner exhibition room where objects according to the current ongoing event can be placed. The ceiling of this path is party transparent and provides specific light patterns during different times of day. The Info box is a light and flexible construction which provides a bright possibility to promote the range of events of

LIGHTING SYSTEMS ZUMTOBEL WORKSHOP
CULTURAL CENTER
New lightening system was installed in the existing cultural center in order to improve the building performance. In spaces with specific lighting requests as library, conference room, and art studio were made changes to provide the best possible conditions for the future users. According to the needs, different calculations for the interior were made and the outcomes of those analyses are the lightening systems proposed on the following pages. A well-planned lighting increases the efficiency of the user at work and maintains a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. As known, 90% of all information is obtained through the human eye therefore; a qualitative lighting system is very significant for the carrying data to be clear.

This room is divided into two areas, the one with the various stage lighting and the fixed lighting installations in the rest of the room. The stage lighting has to be sufficiently flexible so that it can adapt to the changing needs of different events. The trusses on the ceiling are used as a support for various DMX PAR, lens, profile lights and moving heads used. For specific needs, also a direct illumination with a minimum illumination of 300lx is provided. Furthermore, the whole installation should be flexible in the change of the brightness before and after an event. In the event space marker lights show the exit way to ensure an easier orientation in case of emergency. LIBRARY

The atrium provides good illumination during the day, as well as a direct link to the outside space and the nature. The new lightening system provides a better orientation towards the shelves through adding the marked lights. Strip lights were integrated in the roof, the reflection on the working surface was reduced to minimum. A proper lighting in the library and the reading room is an important part of interior design. ATLAS DESIGN URBAN CHANGE | POLITECNICO DI MILANO, ITA
‘The Atlas’ is a booklet that contains a collection of various data for a particular project in the form of graphic representation. The goal was to generate various graphic representation approaches based on similar techniques and to establish a homogenous visual image for the whole project. Different graphics and timelines explain the historical and current state of the building. A color range and a font style were defined and the form of circles is repeating through the whole presentation. Few pages of the booklet are shown below.

CITY LIBRARY BERLIN ABANDONED FACTORY REDEVELOPMENT| BERLIN, GER
The urban proposal focuses on a spatial division of public and private areas. The public square supports and emphasizes the appearance of the revitalized building, and provides sufficient space for additional outBASEMENT GARAGE
door activities. The repeating element (40x15m rectangle) creates the pattern of the site which outlines the visual separation between public and private areas. The private area is defined by the construction of two new dwellings generating spaces for the increase of the districts population density. The two glass rectangles in the public area follow the hierarchy of the buildings on site and create a connection with the surrounding ones. Meanwhile, allows a direct view on the indoor activities and provide the interior with enough sunlight. STEP 02 The blind wall will be replaced and the existing volume will be extended in order to make the buildings interior the pillar construction visible. STEP 03 The regal shaped construction represents the extension of the existing factory building. The new light and transparent materials represent the contrast to the exiting massive structure.
