Mr. Dan Wolman, Director and Playwright

The three-day festival celebrating Israeli cinema received an overwhelming response with close to 2000 attendees on all days. Mr. Dan Wolman, Director and Playwright and winner of the Life time Achievement Award at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in 2018 inaugurated the event. The festival began with screening of ‘An Israeli Love Story,’ directed by Mr. Wolman himself. The movies that were showcased in the festival covered a range of topics from love, family and relationships to war, politics and violence which gave a glimpse of Israel’s traditional and modern-day life and culture. The festival was curated by Dr. Latika Padgaonkar, member, PIC.
