How did Neetish Sarda Father Help in Creating Smartworks?

Smartworks' founder, Neetish Sarda, aspires to make the company India's leading provider of modern customised office spaces. Neetish has extensive commercial expertise spanning from jute mills and company operations to real estate and construction. Ghanshyam Sarda, his father, has supported his son in creating a fully serviced office space in order to revolutionise workspace ideas.

Coworking spaces have changed significantly over the years. It also had an impact on conventional working cultures and has earned a reputation for increasing people's productivity. Neetish's father wished to provide a fully serviced office with top-notch designs and a clutter-free environment. In order to realise his ambition, Sarda invented SmartWorks, a workplace that takes care of every minor aspect so that your productivity is not hampered. Smartworks offers organisations of all sizes an unrivalled workplace solution that ensures long-term organisational success. Neetish Sarda Father is Mr Ghanshyam Sarda, a top jute industrialist of India and is the owner of the INR 2500 crore Sarda Group of Industries, which primarily works in the jute and information technology sectors. Alwar Jute Mill, Agarpara Jute Mill, Axsys Technologies, and Vision Comptech are all part of the Sarda Group. The Sarda Group of Industries is based in Kolkata and has operations throughout West Bengal. The firm now operates eight jute mills, which generate more than 500 tonnes of jute goods each day. The freshly established Jute Mill in Alwar, Rajasthan, is expected to cost Rs 100 crore. It all began when Neetish returned to India after studying in Singapore and joined his father's business. This was a conventional company operating in a traditional environment. The scenario wasn't anything that millennials could relate to, and he wasn't an exception. He has been in trendy unorthodox schools of thinking and was more associated with an open workplace atmosphere and vibrantly done furnishings that represent a brand's spirit. This is when he recognised there was a gap in the industry and that the expectations of the Indian millennial age were not being taken into account when it comes to workplace design. Smartworks, founded in April 2016, is changing people's perceptions by offering their clients the option of building futuristic workspaces that are collaborative by nature, equipped with modern technology to boost employee productivity, fully furnished workspaces to keep employees focused on their work, and still endorse an open office culture. Smartworks provides a wide range of workplace alternatives, including Smart labs, SmartCubes, and smart suits. Each of them has a diverse customised style to meet the demands of their clientele. Though India has made significant advances into the global arena, its corporate environment has remained behind international norms, particularly in terms of office architecture, ambience, infrastructure, and facilities, all of which have an impact on employee happiness and productivity. Furthermore, most available office spaces are either too huge or too expensive, or they come with major administrative difficulties that many businesses would like to avoid.

Co-working spaces, where two or more firms share a facility, on the other hand, not only provide an enviable corporate lifestyle but also cutting-edge technological solutions and a "wow" factor that makes them highly appealing offers. Moreover, co-working spaces, which were originally thought to be solutions for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and freelancers, have grown into more than just a place to work by delivering cost-effective and hasslefree workplaces while increasing productivity through employee satisfaction—all in keeping with the company's slogan "Workspaces that work for you." More than 90% of its customers are big organisations, including Indian and global MNCs and Fortune 500 firms like Amazon Web Services, Jaguar Land Rover, Bacardi Limited, DHL, Ernst & Young, Hitachi, Microsoft Corporation, Petronash, Red Hat, Ricoh, and Samsung. Smartworks views traditional/conventional office space providers as competitors rather than coworking spaces. It still has a long way to go achieving new heights in India's burgeoning coworking marketplace.
