Neetish Sarda the youngest entrepreneur from India is the founder and CEO of the largest provider of coworking spaces, Smartworks. He started his journey at the age of 25 with a vision of offering tailor-made office spaces to every kind of business enthusiast at affordable prices with all the facilities needed for growth in productivity and creativity and he is on the path of success to bring his business to the next level.
Hails from a Business Family Neetish hails from a business family from Calcutta. The family business was established by his grandfather Mr ShiwaLal Sarda as a jute industrialist. Later, the business was joined by Mr Ghanshyam Sarda, father of Neetish. At present, Ghanshyam Sarda is the owner of the biggest group of industries named Sarda Group. His desire was to bring his son to the family business, however, Neetish’s aim was to create his own business. After completing his master’s degree from UniSIM, Singapore, Sarda returned back to India with the dream of doing something new in the field of coworking spaces. How Neetish Sarda Started Smartworks Neetish Sarda was motivated by how global titans such as Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Facebook built and administered their offices. As an outcome, Neetish Sarda launched Smartworks Coworking Spaces Private Limited in April 2016 and was subsequently joined by Harsh Binani in 2017. Smartworks, located in Noida, provides established startups, businesses, and SMEs with flexible workspace solutions tailored to their specific needs. Through its technology-enabled and futuristic workplaces, the business intends to challenge India's traditional work culture. From seven centres in 2017, the business has grown its footprint to nine major cities throughout the country, with 31 operating centres distributed across a 40 lakh-square-foot area. Among Smartworks' clientele are Microsoft, Samsung, Ricoh, Ernst & Young, Red Hat, Swiggy, and Lenovo, to mention a few.
