OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY DEVELOPMENT Supply Chain Identification and Capacity within Newfoundland and Labrador

Introduction The Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA) is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from parties interested in providing information on the supply chain of offshore wind energy development, specifically: a)
Identifying the products and services typically involved in offshore wind energy development; and
b)
Of the products and services identified in (a), a list of which are already being provided by firms operating in Newfoundland and Labrador in some capacity.
The identified supply chain should consider both the developmental and operational phases of the offshore wind energy industry. 2.
Submission Requirements General The request for EOIs is exploratory in nature, and thus does not require a detailed response. EOIs can be between 1-2 pages in length. Relevant Experience This section must include a listing of relevant experience of the consultant with respect to the offshore wind energy industry or in supply chain identification. Cost This section must include a cost estimate for the scope of work. Timeline This section must include an estimation of time required to complete the scope of work.

Submission Details The deadline for the submission of EOIs is 17h00 on February 9, 2017. EOIs can be submitted directly to Kieran Hanley, Executive Director of NEIA, at kieran@neia.org. Only the proponents of EOIs of interest to NEIA will be contacted.

No contractual obligation whatsoever shall arise from the EOI process unless and until a formal contract is signed and executed between NEIA and the interested party. The issue of this EOI does not imply that NEIA is bound to select a submission. NEIA reserves the right not to proceed with the project outlined.
