IDENTIFYING COLLECTIVE OPPORTUNITIES

Introduction The Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association (NEIA) is exploring the possibility of engaging a consultant to work with the association to identify segments of the province’s environmental sector that show significant potential for growth. The work would identify segments based on the level and intensity of different environmental sector activities within the province. With respect to growth potential, a primary consideration will be international business development and the export opportunities associated with each segment.

Submission Requirements General The request for EOIs is exploratory in nature, and thus does not require a detailed response. EOIs should not exceed 1 page in length. Relevant Experience This section must include a listing of relevant experience of the consultant with respect to sector development and international business and exporting. Cost This section must include a cost estimate for the scope of work. Timeline This section must include an estimation of time required to complete the scope of work.

Submission Details The deadline for the submission of EOIs is 17h00 on February 23, 2017. EOIs can be submitted directly to Kieran Hanley, Executive Director of NEIA, at kieran@neia.org. Only the proponents of EOIs of interest to NEIA will be contacted.

No contractual obligation whatsoever shall arise from the EOI process unless and until a formal contract is signed and executed between NEIA and the interested party. The issue of this EOI does not imply that NEIA is bound to select a submission. NEIA reserves the right not to proceed with the project outlined.
