The Miles for Morrison Walk-a-Thon
When: Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, 8 a.m. — Noon

Where: Wendell Krinn Technical High School (formerly Ridgewood High School) 7650 Orchid Lake Rd. New Port Richey.
What to Expect:
We’re taking over the track and football field to throw an epic walka-thon. This event is for EVERYONE and will feature:
• Fun activities and games • Physical challenges on an obstacle course • Prizes • Live DJ • Food
How you can help/participate:
Local businesses: $100 reserves your vendor space. Bring your own tent. Provide fun activities for Walk-A-Thon participants (e.g.: arm wrestling matches, lemonade stand, carnival games) Provide one (1) prize for event organizers to distribute. Individual participants: $15 registration free gets you: • Entry to all the fun • Commemorative Walker’s Bib • 5 raffle tickets for use at vendors tents and other planned activites, plus option to buy more tickets.
REGISTER: Ashley Morrison’s Story:
Ashley Morrison was a Ridgewood High School student-athlete who died at age 16 in December 2000 after complications from meningitis. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend and teammate. The event, organized by two of Ashley’s classmates who are dedicated to honoring their friend’s memory, is scheduled to take place on what would have been her birthday weekend.
