YOUR COMPREHENSIVE 24 PAGE WEDDING GUIDE

How to decide your wedding budget decided what you can’t live without. Your wedding budget should be perfect for you – save on the things you’re not sure on, and splurge on the fun stuff. Make a list of your “musts” and a rough estimation of how much they’re going to cost you, this is a great way to get an idea of how much you’re talking about for the whole wedding.

The first thing you should do before you embark on your wedding planning journey is set out your budget – it’ll dictate every decision you make. Not sure where to start? Never fear, the Leader has come up with some questions to ask yourselves before deciding your wedding budget to get you on the right track.

4. How many people are we going to invite? The number of people that you invite will affect the amount you have to spend on your wedding. Most venues and caterers work on a cost per head basis, so having an idea of numbers is essential from an early stage.

1. Are we on the same page?

If your partner is imagining the traditional big white wedding, but you’re sold on a smaller wedding and a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, you’re going to run into problems. Ensure that you and your partner are on the same page with your wedding budget and the type of wedding you both want.

2. Who is paying for the wedding? If family members have mentioned paying for some or all of the wedding, now is the time to ask. Communication is key here: Know what you can expect from the offset – the last thing you want is

5. What can we comfortably afford?

a hefty bill that you weren’t expecting a couple of months before the wedding. It’s also a good idea to think about how much involvement you want your families to have in the wedding planning at this stage. If your parents are paying but you don’t

Take a long look at your finances: What can you actually afford to spend on the wedding? Sit down with your partner and decide how much you’re willing to spend comfortably – the last thing you want to do is stretch yourselves and spend the day want to invite all of their friends, make it clear now worrying about the bill. to avoid future bad feeling. Ask yourselves these questions and you’ll be 3. What are your priorities? well on the way to deciding your wedding You can’t decide how much to spend until you’ve budget – happy spending!

Top tips and considerations for choosing a wedding venue As we prepare for hosting our October Wedding Fayre at Castle Grove Country House, we are sharing some helpful factors to consider when choosing a wedding venue.

Contracts - Read the wedding contracts before signing. Couples often sign the contract to lock in the date and do not read the contract to fully understand all that is included in the venue’s wedding contract.

Selecting a wedding venue is one of the first (and biggest) decisions you’ll make as an engaged couple — it will influence your vendors, budget, décor, and even attire

Theme – Are you having a wedding theme – if so choose a venue that will complement the theme, whether it is an overall event theme like Hollywood Glamour or Country Chic to a simple color theme.

Some valuable things to consider are: Guests - Decide how many guests will be at your wedding, as most wedding venues suit a certain number of guests best. Also, ask if your venue charges for a minimum of guest or plates (industry term) and if so aim low in your numbers, as it easier to add numbers than deduct and pay a charge. Decide your budget – what you are willing to pay for your venue. Do your homework and know the going rates. Most wedding experts recommend approx. 50% of total wedding budget going to venue.

4 Unique Hair and Beauty Looks for the modern bride Be the most wonderful looking bride your guests have ever seen with these classy, sophisticated modern looks put together by some of the World’s most creative stylists and make-up artists...

The Wildflower Queen This look puts a spin on the classic bohemian milkmaid braid, beloved by boho brides the world over! Keep it light if you’re a fan of dancing with your hair down and make like a true golden girl: Dusky eyeshadow and luscious feathered lashes work beautifully together for fluttering those big, big eyes. A few wisps gently frame the face, whilst the hair sings with its crowning glory – a gorgeous wreath of dried flowers, slightly vintage, slightly DIY for an effortless form of natural beauty. A single pearl in each ear is all you’ll need to polish this, with a just a hint of copper catching the light!

New Age Ska Bride

Earth Mother Goddess

Princess of free spirit

Are you as strong as a shield maiden? Forward-thinking, progressive and ready for the ultimate babe – this punk style playfully toys with natural elements, accented by that stunning gold leaf hair piece!

If you’re going outdoors for your big day, get back to nature with a little eco-warrior chic! It’s no secret that Greenery is BIG news in weddings, taking over as one of the hottest trends to follow. The stylists have worked their magic with this verdant vision: Simply dressed in white, with hair down in loose curls, a garland has been worked in just above the brow – this wreath echoes hand-fasting ceremonies at a festival, weaving together foliage, copper elements and small, white flowers. Less hunter, total earth-mother gatherer!

Look heavenly and ethereal with a side-swept style that says beaches and barefoot. Here, we’re seeing spirals for volume, whirling softness and total spontaneity – all that’s missing are the shells… Beautifully designed, this style delivers if the wispy, care-free, natural look calls to you, just like the sea. A slight touch of sparkle comes from the silver, trailing hair piece – one that’s getting us all starry-eyed and daydreaming! Use this for the crystal, bright, bright edge that bride’s look for to dazzle on those starlit nights.

Full of daring, darken the brow, contour your cheekbones, opt for a moody, dark shade on the eyes and bite the lip with a deep, deep berry. This screams Punk funk, ready to be worked by the alternative, head banging bride!

To help start you off we have compiled a short honeymoon checklist.

To begin, everyone at Liberty Travel would like to congratulate you on your engagement and wish you well through the stresses and strains of arranging your wedding.

1. When should we start to plan our honeymoon?

4. When do you want to leave and how long do you want to be away for?

lot of people want to leave as soon as possible after the wedding, then when the time comes around it has been a whirlwind few days and you haven’t even thought about packing a case! Also the time of year will rule some places in or out, for instance hurricane season in the Caribbean might affect your decision. Again, knowing how long you want to be away will help. If you only have a week, do you really want to fly for 24 hours to Sydney? Again this is something we can help with when you are in with us.

5. What do you really want from your holiday of a lifetime? Do you love the idea of an All Inclusive resort right on the beach? Lounging around for a week with nothing on your mind only what cocktail will you have next? You might want the complete opposite, an adventure holiday to Machu Pichu. Cruising is also really popular, combining the ability to relax but also opening up new destinations every few days. Communication is crucial on this one, the bride’s idea of an ideal honeymoon might be a beach in Mexico, the grooms might be skiing in France. Have a chat to see what you both want!

Myth Buster! When you come in we ask ‘Is this your honeymoon’, sometimes people say no because they think we will charge extra. This really isn’t the case, the only reason we ask is because it’s a once in a lifetime holiday and we want to make it as special as possible.

The sooner the better. We at Liberty Travel If you are getting married on a Saturday, then If you have a budget we will give you options want to make your honeymoon perfect, so an after party on Sunday, exhausted on Monday, to match it as best we can….we do not charge getting it arranged well in advance will enable so Tuesday might be the best day to leave.
