GRADUATION PROJECT
Gasr Bengardene, which reveals an urban and architectural richness, testifies to an ethnic and social mix.
Under the effect of urban sprawl, it no longer enjoys its centralizing capacity and thus passes from a space of passage, sharing and cohabitation in a deserted space devoid of meaning. Through a triple analytical approach (contextual, participatory and referential), this thesis proposes an operation to requalify this historic center into a historic eco-district which reconciles the cultural heritage inherited from past generations, the current needs of the inhabitants and the needs foreseen for the future generations.
