The LAC Academy Fundamentals of Effective Program Management Certificate is a rigorous program that provides current and future managers with a firm foundation and “hands on” best practice in adult education program management. The Fundamentals of Effective Program Management Certificate serves as an initial qualification for: n Anyone interested in taking on a leadership role in adult education n Current adult education managers who would like to refresh and upgrade their skills n Emerging leaders recommended by their supervisors as part of succession planning n Managers in other fields interested in preparing to work in adult education

Format: Participants attend 45 hours of on-site classes, in addition to 60 hours of study and reflection online, as part of a professional community of practice.

Interested parties are encouraged to sign up for a minimum of 5 one-hour coaching sessions to maximize the benefit of this support service.
Online Learning All LAC Academy Certificate programs are blended models, incorporating both on-site and online learning environments. Incorporated into each certificate are tutorials and support to make sure students have the tools they need to succeed in the online portion of our certificate programs.
