From The West
From the East Our first month is over and we accomplished a lot. We did our first EA degree and we had the Grand Master’s Official Visitation, the officers did a great job at both events and I know that they will only get better. Special thanks to all the Brothers who came out to help with the child ID at the Shrine Circus! Especially to Brother Jim Dorff, who worked there two entire days! I was told that we processed about 140 ID’S during the event.

Coming up in March we will be participating in the Saint Baldricks childhood cancer event on the 1st. If you would like to join and have your head shaved with one of our teams contact Brother Jason Cunningham. On May 17th is the Helldorado Parade. We need participation! It’s a fun time and a fantastic way to be seen by the public. On May 18th we are having our family picnic. Brother Dave Lublin will be in charge so if you would like to help or donate something for the picnic, I am sure he would appreciate it. June 10th will be Table Lodge, please remember All Masons are welcome so bring a brother with you. I’m sure the Jr. Warden would appreciate any assistance you can offer, so if you want to help out contact Bro. Dennis.

Our ancient brethren established themselves according to their work and the Craft grew out of a willingness to help one another. From the South I’d like to extend a sincere request for help with preparation, set-up, cooking, clean up as well as dishes, pretty much everything that deals with the meals on our Tuesday nights. I know from experience that as a volunteer you may be doing what some consider to be a chore. However, those that participate will be rewarded. The first and best reward is the opportunity to build brotherhood by working closely with other members of the Lodge. It may be a member you’ve never spoken to, or it may be someone you are already friends with, either way our ancient brethren built the Craft on the brotherhood of shared responsibilities and work, I extend that same opportunity to every member of our Lodge. Besides, those that help eat free!! Also, in order to more properly lay out and measure my work Dinner will be served each night we meet from 6:15pm to 6:45pm.
