Bullseyes Shooting Sports Education Club The Nelson County Bullseyes 4-H Shooting Sports Education Club held their organizational meeting in October. State Shooting Sports Ambassadors Madelyn Bolin and Caleb Enlow presented an information PowerPoint about the 4-H shooting sports program. At the November meeting, they will be electing new officers and starting their annual education lessons.

The registration deadline is Dec. 4. The cost to attend is $80 per youth and $100 per adult.
Sessions will help them develop and refine their leadership and communications skills. They will also learn about goal setting, parliamentary procedure, resume development, public speaking, etiquette tips and how to express appreciation.
The intensive, three-day leadership camp is for 4-H members who are at least 14 years old and are interested in serving in a statewide leadership position. This include positions on the 4-H State Teen Council, state leadership boards or as a Kentucky 4-H state officer. At the camp, participants will learn from and network with past 4H leadership teams, extension agents and other 4-H’ers.
The boot camp is from Dec. 17-19 at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Educational Center.
Senior 4-H’ers who are interested in becoming a leader of Kentucky 4-H will want to attend the 4-H Leadership Boot Camp.
