SINGULARITY

The lamps can be filled with light and expand the brightness into the surrounding space. But perhaps there are more possibilities regarding the way the light appears.

The lamps are made up of different sizes of acrylic board layered on top of each other. The end shape is cone.

Light is a path which emerges in th dark. Then we need to do is how to make the most efficient application with it.

The lamps can be placed in frames which are of differing heights and therefore can be used when people are sitting down or standing up. The height of the lamp is based on human behavior.

ICE SQUARE By folding action, trying to constitute from a plane into a three-dimensional state. Began to think how to use the three-dimensional model with different material to form the final state. It is necessary to consider the gearing and there are also considerations about the structures.

Initially, I always thought about the use of geometry, such as circles or triangles. I discovered that I could use many squares and triangles to be combined into a large shape. It is my ideal shape, and began to do different actions. With the folding process, I needed to think about the changes in shape. I found the midpoint of the square and pushed it inward. It began to show different variations of the connecting points with the other square creating a diamond shape. By the degree of its concave, a different deformation is created. Then I started thinking about how to use authentic materials to express my concept. The reason I used acrylic as the main material is because I wanted the vision to be very penetrating, like a diamond with many different cuts, with pure and symmetrical shapes. Then I used a triangular pyramid made of steel to fix the acrylic cube in the middle to form the final appearance.

The generated deformation when squeezing inward.

Gravity Endpoint Analysis of two architectural cases. Aim: to find a combination of the development of resistance, and try to complete the final sculpture. I realized from Le Corbusier's case that a building is a living machine, which can bring convenience and health to its residents. Villa Savoye incorporates raised floors which give the impression that the building is floating which was a whole new design at that time. The second case (Villa Nurbs) is a pioneer in digital building development. Enric Ruiz-Geli used new technology to redefine the building. He also elevated the living space, trying to free it from the interference of the ground. Finally he built a clean and well-balanced garden under the chaotic environment.

Keywords: light / balance I capture the keyword as the conversion. Back to humans, we are always fighting between good and bad things, trying to stay healthy. There are also bad substances in the body, and every day there is a confrontation with the immune system in order to maintain the balance of human bodily functions.

The final sculpture : Red heart and disease coexist in transparent skins with immune system outside, forming the balanced status.

MICRO-INTERVENTION

The "TRUBLE" Student team tried another experimental way of thinking about urban space. They will be in the city, after spatial analysis, experimental action into smaller units, hoping to demonstrate by the micro way into large-scale space. ATT 4 FUN is TRUBLE’s first experimental site. Through the discussion and analysis of the students in different directions, deconstruction and interpretation of this space. As a large number of small units represent the construction of spatial patterns in the windows. Using linear materials as scrolling, shaking and shooting devices are placed on different floors of the department store. Let a steady state of space appearance begin to restructure.

Scrolling Arrange the line for the matrix. Using different angles to form the visual disturbance. As time passes there is a different view.

Shaking Make line tight and loose with different width. By rotation of the motor to achieve different shaking frequencies. Resulting in different density of visual phenomena.

Shooting Using the lines to hit the glass like the principle of bows. The sounds of beat will have the influence with viewers. Let the interaction happen from both side of the windows.

As the designer of the shooting devices I noticed that the moving escalator is related to time, so the shooting devices are placed horizontally. Thus, the sound from the line hitting the glass changes according to the person's movement.

On Wire Question: How to change the balance from three points to two points? Spindle: I wanted to use a very simple way to complete the conversion, while supporting the body's weight. With multi-joints to share the weight of the body, each joint is strengthened with a steel structure. After a person lies down on the structure, the pressure rods on the rear legs move as a buffer, reaching a four-point balance. When the auxiliary feet are folded away a two-point balance is formed.

The steel joints between the two-phase bodies. Strengthening the structure between the nodes with steel backbones or specially angled pieces of steel.

The Scene

Written form Generate the scene by events. EEG as a starting point of the incident, derived from ideas, actions and behavior. Have the data analysis from different behavior by science instruments. Capture different points in time and get the data state of movement. Then extend from the line to the plane to form the scene.

EEG analysis α,β is called the fast wave and it usually occurs in times of emotional excitement, in states of excitement and being attentive. θ ,δ waves occur in a relaxed, meditative, sleep condition. Behavioral changes can be observed in different statuses of brain waves: the upper part of the chart shows brain waves in a relaxed state and the lower part shows brain waves in a concentrated state. At different times, the graphics also have different ups and downs. It is difficult to define the basis of a point from its wave, only from two or more other points in time to compare. So one state can’t be defined directly. On the other hand, certain behaviors appear to show both slow and fast waves, but this may be a result of behavior which has high and low peaks simultaneously.

Stereotypes Ink spread in water, like the status we take the message in brains. (the carrier) Try to let the ink move in different materials, results in different variations. Capture points of reference and have stereotypes of brainwave data point which represents the moment of immediate changes. The use of sodium acetate crystallized by external characteristics, trying to hold the ink diffusion state. Repeatedly make sodium acetate dissolved by the process of crystallization. The ink will disintegrate as ice split into more pieces in general like the body absorbs the message into the different sensory organs.

Airflow disturbance The formation of the body due to the unique momentum of facial and bodily expressions. The space can be felt but the airflow is unseen. The human body can make use of brainwave signals to interpret, understand form explicit expressions of different people thinking inherently differently. Finally, being present in the space equipment: the two men stared at each other inside and the brainwaves can be seen transformed into elements (light smoke). This is the formation of the final scene.

Ink Wavering in the liquid, condensed to form the final picture. Ink slices expressed the final state or an event called “cumulative process endpoint.

Practice: Find some interesting ambiguous space in alleys, painting it and analysis how you feel about the space.

Then using different colored squares to define space.

Peep Site's condition. Residents mainly live in the higher floors, while the lower floors are to be used for street vendors. However, not always all residents and vendors are seperated. Perhaps some vendors have their own buildings, working at lower floor and living at higher floor.

Symbiotic relationship between vendors and residents.

Concept Facing the peep around, whether intentional or not, appear at double stitching apartment’s or iron window’s hole.Feeling of fear because of what was suspected to enlarge.I tried to search the new way conbining residents and vendors in this crowded site without fear and suspicion.

The three floor building of the left side is the living space, trying to divide left and right than up and down.Public spaces are placed on the first floor and basement, especially the right side is the crowded side of the surrounding.

In addition to the original function of public space ,vendors, they have the reading space and a small cinema. And there has only a large axis to run through the entire public space, to avoid the crowd's confusion affecting the living space.
