WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT? Nelson Central School students Zoe Dunstan, 9, Jack Campbell, 11, Aliyah Hebberd, 10 and Lucio Heathfield, 11 with their “weird and wonderful” eyeball masks they have created for this year’s Masked Parade. Friday’s parade, which ends the Nelson Arts Festival, kicks off at 5.30pm with dozens of groups all showing off their creativity through the centre of Nelson’s CBD. The eyeball masks are part of the school’s “senses” entry. Other students will also have masks representing hearing, smell and touch. The parade will finish with a Carnivale street party.
