When it comes to your wedding or special day, Nemacolin can bring your plans to life. For group events, retreats, board meetings, or conferences, we can assist you in customizing each aspect of your event.

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICIES

We ask that menu selections and set-up arrangements be finalized at least four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled event. A detailed Banquet Event Order will be completed at that time. Your signature is required on each Banquet Event Order two weeks prior to the scheduled event.

Menu selections not received according to this timetable will result in a price increase. If menus are not received seven (7) days prior to the Event, the Resort reserves the right to select the menus and pricing.

DIETARY NOTES & EXCEPTIONS

All culinary offerings are labeled with the three most common concerns: gluten, dairy, and vegan: GF=gluten-free, DF=dairy-free, VG=vegan

All serious, life-threatening allergies or dietary concerns, such as Celiac Disease or a deadly nut allergy, must be disclosed so the Nemacolin Culinary Team can prepare unique plates that accommodate those needs.

ATTENDANCE GUARANTEES

In order to ensure the success of your Event, the precise number of guests (final guarantee) is due by noon (12pm), three (3) business days prior to each Event. If the Guarantee is not confirmed three (3) business days in advance, the expected count will be considered the guarantee.

Final charges will be based on the Guarantee or Actualized Attendance, whichever is greater. The Resort reserves the right to reassign space if attendance changes from the Expected Count or as otherwise deemed necessary.

ALCOHOL SERVICE

No alcohol is to be served without a licensed attendant.

CORKAGE & SPECIALTY ALCOHOL REQUESTS

All alcohol served on property must be purchased through the Resort. If the Resort is not able to source the requested item and the hotel serves outside alcohol, it must be approved by the VP of Food & Beverage and an appropriate corkage fee (minimum $50 per bottle) will apply. Please note that any alcohol that is not on the banquet menu must be ordered and purchased in a predetermined quantity.

LENGTH OF F&B SERVICE

For food safety and quality purposes, all menus allow for a specific maximum length of service. Extending the quoted service time requires approval from the Executive Chef and may require custom pricing and a break in service to accommodate food safety measures.

BACKUP SPACE

In the case of inclement weather, Nemacolin requires a weather call to be made no later than 4 hours prior to the start of the event; however, depending on the exact setup parameters of the specific event, this may be required the day prior. Weather calls from the Group are considered Final. With a 40% chance of rain or higher, the Group will automatically be moved to the backup location. If at any time, Nemacolin deems the weather or location to be a safety issue to the Group, Resort Staff, or Resort Equipment, it reserves the right to relocate the event to its backup location. Backup Locations may be changed, depending on the circumstances.

If circumstances result in setting both the original and back-up location, a minimum $500 reset fee will apply. Final decision of the venue is due at least three (3) hours prior to the event.
