Woven throughout 150 acres of woodlands, valleys, and pastures of the Laurel Highlands mountains, the Rod & Range Club houses one of the nation’s top sporting clays facilities and is the gateway to some of the finest fishing streams and creeks in the Eastern United States.

Sporting Clays & More

Featuring two sporting clay courses, towers, a covered five stand, and 35 stations, a shooting experience at the Rod & Range Club can be tailored to challenge everyone from the most seasoned wing shooter to the novice.

National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA)-certified instructors offer private lessons for beginners to advanced shooters, making this a sport for the entire family.

ARCHERY & AIR RIFLE RANGE

$104 per person; tax & gratuity included Designed specifically for beginners and kids, this one-hour adventure will teach you all the basics of both exciting sports. Test your aim against archery targets and stationary clay targets that will develop and challenge your skills.

3D WILDERNESS ARCHERY

$195 per person; tax & gratuity included Test your skills in a natural environment across 15 stations featuring 3D targets of animals and a few surprises. Guests 10 and over will receive instruction with a compound bow. For experienced or beginner archers.

NOVICE HOURLY INSTRUCTION

PACKAGE

$312 per person; includes gratuity, 50 targets, shotgun rental, ammo, safety equipment

INTERMEDIATE INSTRUCTION

$130 per person; includes gratuity; shooter provides shotgun, ammo, and target fees

HOURLY JUNIOR LESSONS

$240 per person; includes gratuity, target fees, shotgun rental, 50 rounds of ammo, and eye and ear protection. Maximum four people. Must be at least 100 lbs., ages 10-16

Rod & Range Club offers a variety of packages for both day and resort guests. Prices are offered per shooter and include tax, gratuity, targets, ammo, gun rental, safety equipment, guide, golf cart, unless otherwise noted.

Upland Bird Hunting

Rod & Range Club has 275 acres of hunting land available. A portion is planted in strips of grain sorghum and groomed for a relaxed hunt. The remaining acres are natural growth for a more wild hunt experience. Available September through March. A Pennsylvania hunting license is not required.

HALF-DAY GUIDED HUNT

$80 per foursome (up to 3 hours) includes taxes & gratuity

PHEASANT

$35 per bird Sep-Dec and at Market Cost Jan-Mar (minimum of 10 birds per hunt or 5 birds per person)

FIELD DRESSING

$4 per bird

During your upland bird hunt experience, all participants are guaranteed to see birds during the trip. However, a hit is not guaranteed.

Junior Outdoorsman Package

$195 per person (ages 8 and up)

This package is designed especially for the young outdoor enthusiasts. Each two-hour session includes air rifle, archery, spin-fishing lessons, tax, and gratuity. A four-to-one child / guide ratio, maximum.

Orvis® Fly Fishing

The Orvis®-Endorsed Fly-Fishing Lodge at the Rod & Range Club is in a class by itself for anglers of any skill level. Anglers can choose from a number of Pennsylvania trout waters including the Youghiogheny River, Meadow Run, Dunbar Creek, and Beaver Creek, where brown, brook, and rainbow trout swim in numbers.

TWO-HOUR FLY-FISHING EXPERIENCE

$286 per person; includes tax, gratuity, guide, and equipment

GUIDED TRIPS

Half-day: $390 per person; Full-day: $520 per person; prices include tax, gratuity, guide, and equipment

BEAVER CREEK DAY-PASS

FLY-FISHING 101

$195 per person; includes tax, gratuity, and equipment

Learn the basics or take your fly fishing to the next level with our instructional offerings. Learn basic casting and knots with a two-hour lesson. *Please note, Fly-Fishing 101 does not include time on the water.

Spin-Cast Fishing

Ideal for beginners, spin fishing uses a spinning lure to catch fish. Classes are held on property ponds.

Spin-Cast Fishing available at Lake PJ and the pond at the Rod & Range Club; fishing is not permitted on any other Nemacolin lakes, ponds, waterways, or streams.

TWO-HOUR SESSION

$169 per person; includes tax, gratuity, bait, tackle, guide; limit of four people per class

ROD RENTALS

$30 per person, per rod; includes rod, tackle, and bait; unguided rental 9am & 1pm; 24-hour rental

The Rod & Range Club is located four miles from Nemacolin. Shuttle service to and from the Rod & Range Club is available.

Experiences at the Rod & Range Club are open to the general public, overnight guests, resort members, and allaccess members of Nemacolin.
