AGROFEED PROPOSAL FOR THE ADEQUATE USE OF FEED RAW MATERIALS IN COUMPOUND FEED FORMULATIONS Feed components

AGROFEED PROPOSAL FOR THE ADEQUATE USE OF FEED ADDITIVES FOR PIGLETS, FATTENINGS AND BREEDER SOWS Feed additives

Need for use

Recommended use

Pellet binders

Help pellet stability of feed with high corn and oil content. The rapidly disintegrating pellets reduces feed intake.

The composition of the feed influances the dosage.

Toxin binders

Toxin contaminated feed can reduce body weight gain and increases FCR. Toxin binders reduce the absorption of mycotoxins from the gut, rather they reduce those toxic effects, through alteration.

The dosage must be adjusted to the real toxin levels and to the flock.

"Feed additive for helping the fat digestion"

Fat digestion of young animals is lower than older once, this influences the energie supply, and the energie level of feed. Supports attand on higher energy need of the older broiler flocks.

Depends on the product.

Probiotics and prebiotics

The purpose of using probiotics is to overcome some of the beneficial bacteria in the intestine and stabilize the gut flora of the animal. Prebiotics help the growth of beneficial microbes in the intestine.

Depends on the product.

Organic acids

Effectively reduce the E.coli and Salmonella concentration in the gut.

0,25-0,5 kg/Mt complete feed

Phytase-enzyme

The phytase enzyme improves the absorption of phosphorus, reducing the phosphorus supplementation of the mineral and the phosphorus loading of the environment. It also improves access to calcium and promotes improved utilization of phytate-bound amino acids and microelements.

Depends on the product.

NSP-enzyme

NSP-enzymes enable to raise the amount of wheat, rye, triticale and barley in compound feed.

Depends on the product.

Protease enzyme

The protease enzyme primarily improves the digestibility of protein in seeds of legumes, amino acid and starch. They reduce the N-content of the faeces and the ammonia concentration, thereby reducing the environmental load.

Depends on the product.
