Thanks to a generous gift the Northeast Mississippi Community College Development Foundation & Alumni Association was able to create a new scholarship program named the IMPACT Scholarship Program. The goal of this program is to recognize the incredible influence teachers have on their students’ lives. In order to qualify for the scholarship, students had to write a 300 to 500 word essay that honors the teacher or professor who made the most significant impact on their life. The Foundation held a luncheon to present a $500 scholarship for both the fall and spring semester and honor the teachers who inspired their essays.
