1. Why do you like Scout?

Scouting imparts a diverse range of external and internal skills, encompassing qualities such as dignity, endurance, coordination, teamwork, leadership, fairness and many more. These invaluable skills empower young individuals, equipping them to excel in various aspects of life. It is no wonder that Scout is highly regarded and cherished.

2. How do you feel about latest activities of Nepal Scouts?

Since joining Scouts, I have become an active follower of Nepal Scout's Facebook page. I am genuinely impressed by the ongoing activities organized by Nepal Scout. They have a wide range of programs that engage participants like myself. It's heartening to see many of my friends also involved in scouting.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Engaging in Scouting has allowed me to recognize the significance of coordination, collaborative associations, and cohesive teamwork. These elements have been instrumental in my personal and social achievements and have positively impacted to me and amy community.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

In the future, scouting activities should be enhanced and made progressive based on merit. Emphasizing the significance of training will be crucial for gaining greater recognition. Active involvement in community and social service should be encouraged among scout members, as they can play a constructive role in addressing community issues. It is important to provide equal opportunities in training.

1. Why do you like Scout?

Scouting provides a platform for learning and developing a wide range of practical Skills. This Skills can include First aid, navigation, Survival techniques, leadership, teamwork, communication so on. As well scouting offers opportunities for exciting outdoors activities such as camping, hiking, rock climbing and more. Scouting promotes Personal Growth by encouraging individual to challenges themselves and set goals. It promotes strong values such as honesty, integrity respect, and responsibility. Participating in scouting activities can help individuals develop a strong moral compass and ethical behaviors.

2. How do you feel about latest activities of Nepal Scouts?

Nepal scouts offers various skill building activities for scouts, such as first aid training, outdoors Survival skills Knot-typing, map reading, orienting and cooking. Nepal scout focuses on leadership development among scout by providing training programs like trainer's seminars, BTC Training, PTC Training, and Advance training in difference place. Currently Advance training is going on. As well advance training.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Scouting activities can bring positive changes as, scouts learn practical skills such as first aid, outdoors survival techniques, communication team work and Problem solving which can be valuable throughout life. Scouting promotes strong values and ethical behaviors, instilling a sense of responsibility, integrity, and respect for others. As well scouting encourage social interaction and team work, helping scouts from friendship, work collaboratively, and develop effective communication skills and also engage in community services activities, contributing positivity to society and learning the importance of giving back.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

As being a scout I would like to see the scouting movement as:-

• Foster an environment where everyone feels valued and has equal opportunities to participate.

• Adapt scouting programs to address contemporary issues and challenges faced by young people. This could include incorporating topics such as mental health, environmental sustainability digital literacy and global citizenship in to scouting activities.

As of now in Nepal Scouts, notable changes can be observed when comparing the present with the past. The group of young individuals has undergone positive transformations, displaying growth in entrepreneurship, leadership development, and an increased sense of responsibility towards society. Consequently, the overall outlook appears promising.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Over time, scouts have been actively organizing diverse training sessions and engaging in motivating activities that propel individuals towards progress in life. Personally, these experiences have taught me an unwavering belief that nothing is unattainable. The practicality of scouting proves its immense value in shaping and enriching our lives.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

My vision is for the children and young people of Nepal to actively engage in the scouting activities aligned with the principles and values of the World Scout movement. This participation will enable their social, spiritual, physical, mental, and intellectual development, fostering discipline, self-reliance, and strong character. By enhancing their sense of service and nurturing competence, I want to see Nepal Scouts as a strong organization to cultivate a capable and responsible young generation.

I like Scouts because it is the organisation that works in selfless approach in providing support and engaging young people in volunteer work, prioritizing the well-being of others.

The recent endeavors of Nepal Scouts have been praiseworthy, and I found their latest activities to be highly valuable and beneficial.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Participating in various activities organized by Nepal Scouts has provided me with numerous opportunities. The philosophy of social work and volunteering has brought about profound positive changes in my life, adding significant value and benefits.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

I hope to witness increased engagement in social work, particularly in areas where awareness about scouts is limited. It is my desire to reach out to such communities, educate them about the scouting movement, and provide training opportunities to encourage more individuals to join scouts.

The recent activities of Nepal Scout have been commendable as they have played a pivotal role in disseminating positive messages. Notably, they actively advocated against drug abuse, organized rallies to stop the violence against women, and increased awareness through street dramas on drug addiction focusing on youth. These kinds of impactful initiatives have significantly inspired the youth and contributed to spreading positive information throughout society.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Participating in scouting activities has positively changed my life, teaching discipline, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The emphasis on discipline within scouting has allowed me the privilege of imparting my knowledge and understanding to others to deal during difficult situations. This has led to a small but noticeable positive impact on society, bringing me happiness and earning compliments from others.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

I would like to see the scouting activities progress greatly in the coming days. I want to see a positive change in the society through Scouting. I want to see the many new people join in the scouting and learn good things and discipline through scouting and contribute in development of society. I envision scouting activities evolving into a disciplined organization that promotes collaboration, facilitates knowledge-sharing, and nurtures a strong and capable youth population for our nation.

1. Why do you like Scout?

We like to do social services. It supports in our physical, intellectual, and social development. By being part of the Scouts, we gain valuable external knowledge and insights. Engaging in scouting activities ensures that we maintain our physical health and well beings through regular exercise.

2. How do you feel about latest activities of Nepal Scouts?

Nepal Scouts has been established in 2009 BS. With the opening of schools after the democracy in 2007 BS, Initially, scouting activities were introduced in schools across the country. Looking ahead, Nepal Scouts has set a target to enroll an 700,000 scouts by the year 2032.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Engaging in scouting activities help me to be discipline, allowing us to become responsible and valuable citizens. Participation in scouts also enhances our mental well-being, promoting a sense of balance and stability. Through scouting, we develop a clear and focused mindset, enabling us to extend help and support to children, the sick, and the elderly in our communities.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

In the future, the scope of scouting activities can extend beyond just students in schools, encompassing all students who can benefit from scouting. Scout imparts valuable lessons in humanity, cultivating patience and discipline within us. It is important for us to actively engage in all scout activities. Participating in Scout fills us with immense pride. My aspiration is to witness a vision of one home one scout.

Yeah, I am really proud and appreciate the latest activity of Nepal Scouts. Nepal Scouts proudly engages scouts in crowd control during festivals like Dashain, Teej, and Shivaratri. They foster the development of responsible citizens and contribute to their local communities through activities such as tree planting, health camps, and providing clean drinking water.

3. What changes have you experienced in your life after joining scouting?

Participating in scouting activities has had a profound and transformative impact on my life. It has been instrumental in enhancing my skills, including social skills, teamwork, leadership abilities, and overall confidence. Through scouting, I have also learned the importance of rejecting caste discrimination, fostering an environment of equality and acceptance. Engaging in scouting activities has not only improved my physical fitness but also instilled a sense of body confidence and appreciation for my capabilities. Moreover, scouting has encouraged me to share my knowledge and skills with others, promoting a spirit of service and contribution to the community. One of the most cherished aspects of scouting is the opportunity to form lasting relationships and forge deep friendships with fellow scouts.

4. Where would you like to see scouting in future?

There are numerous exciting opportunities for scouts to plan and prepare for a month-long base filled with enjoyable camping activities and a chance to explore and appreciate their surroundings (when it is safe to do so). They can engage themselves in thrilling activities like hiking and even practice their knot-tying skills. It's a time to look forward to, where scouts can bond, have fun, and immerse themselves in the wonders of the outdoors.

I want to see new improvements in scouting activities in coming days. Right now, there are a lot of issues in our society, like many young people are still using drugs. Even though we have been working hard to control it, we haven't been able to stop it completely. We need support, strategy and program to address the challenges faced.
