NEPAL SCOUTS 8TH CERTIFICATE & 4TH DIPLOMA TRAINING COURSE
Nepal Scouts along with UNICEF Nepal successfully organized the 8th certificate and 4th Diploma training Course at Park Village Resort, Kathmandu, Nepal from 29th July 2022 to 4th August 2022.
The training course was organized in the presence and support from International Trainers, Ms. Afiya Mohamed Didi and Junaiha from Maldives, Carlin and Vijayaletchumi from Malaysia and 7 National Trainers from Nepal Scouts, Ms. Rukmini Shrestha, Ms. Suchita Sainju, Ms. Laxmi Pant, Ms. Indu Subedi, Ms. Beli Thapa, Ms. Lila Shrestha, Ms. Bimala Shrestha. The course was led by Ms. Rukmini Shrestha and Ms. Suchita Sainju. The trainers from Nepal Scouts Mr. Bijendra Dhwoju, Mr. Devraj Ghimire, Chairperson of WOSM AP Educational Methods Sub-committee, Mr. Shiva Bahadur Bhandari, served in the course as resource persons along with professional staffs from Nepal Scouts Educational Methods department. This training aimed to meet the need of competent National Leader Trainers at Nepal Scouts for achieving the organizational vision and mission.

The closing ceremony was organized in the valuable presence of Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari, National Coordinator, Nepal Scouts. He said that Nepal Scouts need the competent Trainers to achieve the Vision 2032 of Nepal Scouts. The 4th Course for leader trainer and 8th Course for Assistant Leader trainer concluded with the active participation of 48 participants. Nepal Scouts and UNICEF is collaborating in several key areas, one of which is the gender transformation. The national training is a step to reach the young people and create a strong foundation for scouting activities to foster in each province. Ms. Sanju Bhattarai from UNICEF emphasize the collaboration between the organization that have the potential to create a youth education movement and empower the community.
