18TH NATIONAL JAMBOREE BHARAT SCOUTS & GUIDES

Nepal Scouts 35 member’s contingent are participatingin18thNationalJamboreeorganizedbyBharat Scouts & Guides in Rohat, Rajasthan, which was started from 4th of January 2023 and ongoing until 10th of January 2023. Farewell program for participants was organized by Nepal Scouts NHQ in presence of National Coordinator Mr.Lok Bahadur Bhandari and Province 1 in presence of Provincial coordinator Mr. Ravi Khanal respectively before their departure to India, Rajasthan. Director Mr. Ram Prasad Bhattarai witnesses the inauguration ceremony of 18th National Jamboree on the presence of Honorable President of India Mrs. Draupadi Murmi. Nepal Scouts five Province Coordinator, Provincial staffs and Contingent leader Mr. Hemanta Bhandari along with 16 participants is also participating in this historic event.

South Asian Association of National Scout Organization (SAANSO) trainers conference focusing on the national training commissioners provided the platform for the leader trainers to discusson the training impact to theyoung people. The Ad. Hoc Committee member from Nepal Scouts also participated in the event and share the strive Nepal Scouts have geared towards training adult as a support framework for youth. The discussion was gearing up towards the need of the integration of the new training methods with the changing dynamics of youth engagement.
