INTERACTION WITH CEO MS. ANN SEGALL AT WAGGGS
For the first time in the history of Nepal Scouts, the National Coordinator of Nepal Scouts, Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari, along with Director Mr. Ram Prasad Bhattarai, visited the WAGGGS World Bureau and had an incredible meeting with the CEO of WAGGGS, Ms. Anna Segall, at the Olave Centre in London on May 9th, 2023!

We Act Forum
A space peer-to-peer learning, We Act Forum kicked off with the theme of “Scouts in Action” in Humanitarian response. The goal of the forum was to bring together National Scouts Associations to increase humanitarian preparedness. In this regards, partnership building, volunteer management and educational approaches were the thematic areas of the programmewithsessionsincludingexpertfromhumanitarian action. Director of Nepal Scouts also presented the key learnings and outcomes about the Nepal Scouts volunteer engagement during the earthquake of 2015 and Covid-19 outbreak. Furthermore, the preparedness training that Nepal Scouts have been implementing to combat the disaster was also highlighted during the event.

The National Coordinator and Director of Nepal Scouts highlighted the current development of Nepal Scouts, especially in areas related to WAGGGS initiatives and programs. Other professional colleagues, Natalia, Paul, and Riju, also joined the meeting and shared the WAGGGS updates on emerging issues.
The Head of Contingents and their teams had a meeting for the success of 2023 SaeManGeum 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. The director of Nepal Scouts also participated in the meeting. There are around 200 participants that are participating in the upcoming jamboree from Nepal. This is the highest number of participants till date in the history of Nepal Scouts.
