YESS Girls MOVEMENT
“Youth Exchange South to South (YESS) Girls Movement is one of the leading WAGGGS Initiatives in Nepal Scouts. Girls and young women have been directly benefitted through this. Due to theCOVID-19 Pandemic, the exchange was in halt for around 2 years. This year the exchange has been again started. Our four young Ranger Scouts Ms. Roji Bhatta for Zambia, Ms. Sisam Pariyar for Ghana, Ms. Pratishtha Subedi for Malawi and Ms. Delina B.K for Mpanazava,
Madagascar have been representing Nepal Scouts through YESSGirls Movement for theyear 2023.The participants gone throughfivedayslongpreparatorycoursebeforetheirdeparture to the respected countries. They are delivering the WAGGGS initiatives and core deliverables of YESS, organizing different programs for the guides and engaged in the different activities of host association.

Likewise, Nepal Scouts received five international YESS Participants Ms. Sharon from Kenya, Ms. Belinda from Tanzania, Ms. Kunda from Zambia, Ms. Carene from Burundi and Ms. Fanantenana from Mpanazava, Madagascar for 6 monthsandoneyearrespectively.Theyareinvolvedindifferent events and activities of MO. Similarly, they are also delivering the core deliverables of YESS program in various schools of Nepal along with WAGGGS Initiatives. The most amazing part of the exchange was their involvement from the troop level scouting to the National level events. They had joined the provincial level scout trainings where they got the opportunity to learn with adults at the same time to share their experience regarding variousWAGGGS initatives and programmes. Such as surfsmart, STV, Free Being Me, Body confidence, etc.
"Nepal Scouts is very delighted and privileged to welcome NORECrepresentatives;Ms.MaritErdal,SeniorProgrammes Advisor and Ms. Trine Lise Sagmo, Finance Controller. They had a meeting with the National Coordinator and Director of Nepal Scouts at National Headquarters Lainchaur, Kathmandu. National Coordinator Mr. Lok Bahadur Bhandari welcomed them and offered Nepal Scouts Scarf as a souvenir.
