World Environment Day

"On the occasion of World Environment Day 2022, Nabina Mangrati ,task force member of team wheel of change from province -1 have successfully participated in bicycle rally. The major motto of the rally was "" living sustainability in harmony with nature."" There were altogether 70 participants in the event.

Besidesthis,YESSGirlsalsoparticipated in Youth DemonstrationAgainst Climate Change at Maitoghar, Kathmandu, on the ocassion of World Environment Day 2022 which was organized by Youth Advocacy Nepal in partnership with different other organizations. More than 50 participants have participated in the demonstration.

Even different provinces of MO also organized plantation programme in provincial and local levels."

"11 October was declared International Day of the Girl (IDG) by the United Nations in 2012. Ever since,GirlGuides and Girl Scouts around the world have been celebrating IDG every year. It is a key moment for us to come together to raise up girls' voices, and show how our Movement empowers girls and young women to shape the world they want to see all year long.

This year also Team Wheels of Change in collaboration with YESS Alumnae conducted the virtual session on how to roll out the International Day of the Girl Activity Pack in unit levels for the YESS Girl National Task Force 2022 and Nepal Scouts Rangers and Leaders. The national task force member and Nepal Scouts Ranges and Leaders will be invited through open call and make them clear about the activity pack and do the same activity to follow in their units."
