FUNDRAISING

Greetings PGA REACH New England Friends and Family,

It is with great pleasure that I present you with our annual Impact Report, some of the exciting programs, partnerships, and initiatives our NEPGA Professionals and staff delivered during the 2022 season. For the second straight year, our foundation has grown leaps and bounds from its humble beginnings’ thanks in part to the renewed interest in the game of golf. Looking back upon the 2022 season, we have managed to increase the quantity and more importantly, the quality of the various initiatives under each of our three Pillars of Impact: Diversity & Inclusion, Veterans and Youth Development. At no other time in the foundation’s history have we seen such interest, both from within and outside the golf industry, in the programs we deliver every day to the golfing community across New England. However, there is still much more we can do to help those who now depend on the great game of golf because of our efforts.

2022 was a great year for partnerships as we were fortunate to introduce our initiatives to wonderful organizations like the Side-by-Side Charitable Foundation, Gorton & Company, and the Eversource Veterans Association. Coupled with the continued support of friends from Avidia Bank, Forward Financing, and Tournament Solutions, our foundation truly has momentum heading into 2023 with partners who are ready to make a difference in the New England golfing community.

Another highwater mark for the year was our record-breaking awarding of Scholarships to young boys and girls looking to pursue higher education. Our foundation was proud to support over 40 different colleges or universities, both nationally and internationally, with $109,000 from our 14 different scholarships.

We also would like to acknowledge and welcome to the foundation family, six dynamic individuals who have made a commitment to impact lives through golf for years to come! Our inaugural Board of Trustees class includes passionate and kind men and women with impressive backgrounds, skill sets and networks –all of which will without doubt, take PGA REACH New England to the next level in 2023 and beyond!

Please enjoy the following pages and don’t forget to support the golfing journey of those that rely on PGA REACH New England however you can.

Sincerely,

Rob Jarvis, PGA ~ Foundation President
