PGA Hope has given me a new perspective on life. Before I joined PGA HOPE New England, my life felt like an existence with not much to look forward to. With all my deployments as a hospital corpsman and witnessing the extreme psychological and physical pain that military patients can experience, then, going through the passing of my only son from a debilitating disease which took its toll on him for 34 years, I thought it was normal to feel numb. I forgot what it was like to feel happy or have something to look forward to. The HOPE program has made me feel alive and helps to alleviate my depression. I find meeting veterans of all ages and stages of life so very meaningful and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have this outlet in my life. I can say with certainty, that PGA HOPE not only saves lives, it makes life more engaging.

PGA HOPE Boston, our program dedicated to the Female Veteran community, is one of, if not the most rewarding program I have been a part of as a PGA Professional. These women are incredible! To be able to give back a little something for their service is the least we can all do. I can’t wait for the 2023 season.
