Bec Irvine is a surface pattern designer based in Brisbane, Australia. Bec was the child that always had a colouring pencil in her hand. After leaving school, Bec put her artistic dream on hold to complete a degree in graphic design. Fast forward 18 years, with a career in advertising and global client campaigns under her belt, plus two little girls that call her mum - Bec has returned to her love of drawing. Surface pattern design provides the perfect mix of Becs drawing skills, technical ability and imagination. A childhood spent by the shores of the Great Barrier Reef means colour, boldness and fun are elements that shine through in all her work.
